Unexpected (Chicago Med) Under Editing

Chapter 19

I woke up to the sun shining through my window lighting up the room. I sit up with a smile on my face. Stretching out, I look at my clock. The clock reads 11:34. Wow! I slept that long? I grab my phone to see a text from Connor.

'Good morning beautiful. I'll be picking you up at seven. Can't wait to see you tonight.'

I smile even bigger before climbing out of the bed and shuffling to the door. I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen. In the kitchen I see Grace and Genesis talking excitedly while Zach is watching them. "You're awake! Go shower so we can get you ready for your date tonight." Genesis says as she notices me in the room. She gets up and starts pushing me back towards the stairs. I roll my eyes before climbing up the stairs. "And don't pick what to wear yet!" I hear shouted up the stairs as I get to my room.

I wash my hair with my mint shampoo. I rinse before putting in some conditioner and grabbing my spoofy thing. After washing my body with my lavender body wash I rinse the conditioner out and turn off the water. I hear a knock on the door and Genesis' voice say to shave. Sighing I grab the shaving cream and sit on the edge of the tub. I shave everywhere, my legs, arms, etc. After I finish I turn the water back on and rinse my whole body. I wrap my towel around myself and wring my hair out before climbing out. I put on the bra and underwear I grabbed before getting in the shower. I brush my teeth and leave the room.

In my room everything is chaos. Clothes were thrown all over the floor and more clothes were falling around me. "Hey! You two are going to clean this up!" I shout to the two in the closet. They both stick their heads out. "Okay." They say in perfect sync before going back to what they were doing before. I sigh and sit on the bed. "This one!" One of the two shouts before they both come out with a short white dress. After I get dressed they do my hair, and makeup.

After they finished they both left the room. I looked at the clock to see that it was 6:45. How did we spend so long getting ready? I hear loud footsteps up the stairs before Zach appears in the doorway. "Hey mo- I mean Tiffany. I was told to come see how you looked. You look amazing." Zach says stumbling over his words. "Thanks." I pause. "You know, I don't mind if you want to call me m...." I start getting cut off when Genesis comes in the room saying Connor is here. Sighing I hug Zach before walking towards the door. "Hey mom. I love you." I heard behind me as I was about to exit the room. I smile brightly before turning around. "I love you too!" I exclaim excitedly. He laughs before coming to stand next to me. "Let's go downstairs shall we?" He asks extending his arm to me. "We shall." I answer giggling.

At the bottom I see Connor smiling slightly. "Hey. You look great." He says turning towards Zach and I. "Thanks you look great too." I say taking in his appearance. He was wearing a pair of Jeans with a white button up shirt, and a black tie. "Don't keep her out too long." Zach starts causing my eyes to widen. "Zach." I warn moving towards Connor. "And have fun." He continues despite my warning. "Zachary." "But not too much fun." Zach says winking at the two of us. "Damn." I mumble under my breath. "Maybe we should get out of here. You look a little uncomfortable." Connor mutters into my ear. "Yeah, let's do that." I said starting to back up with him. "Hey! You can't just leave without pictures." Grace protests seeing us trying to leave. "Now we leave." I say as the two of us rush out the door.

We get in the elevator and start going down to the main floor. "Sorry about him." I say at the same time as he says, "Sorry about her." We laugh before saying in sync, "It's alright." We laugh again before getting to the bottom floor. "So where are we going?" I ask climbing into his car. "Can't tell you it's a surprise." He says winking at me. I groan before turning towards him and doing my best puppy dog eyes. "Pwetty pwease." I say sticking my bottom lip out. "Not gonna work on me. You'll find out when we get there." He says smirking at me. "Dang it! How can you resist this face?" I ask cupping my face in my hands and doing the same face. "I don't think I would be able to if I was actually looking at your face." He mumbles embarrassed. "Fine. I'll wait until we get there." I mumble looking out the window.
