(Sorry this chapter is so late. Hope you all enjoy. And be sure to read the mini author's note at the end.)

I woke up in a room, the door locked with chains, the windows boarded shut, and the lightbulb was smashed. In the room was ten people, sitting in a circle around me, my mom, Zach, my dad, Connor, Genesis, Grace, Will, Jay, my ex, and Hank. They were all sitting in chairs with their heads down and eyes shut. I walked up to Zach fear sinking in. "Zach, hey, you alright?" I asked shaking him. He opens his eyes and slowly lifts his head. I gasp taking a step back. His eyes were coal black. He stood up from the seat and took two big steps towards me. I took two more back only to run into someone. I turned around to see Connor with bright, blood, red eyes. I  turn around to see that everyone of them was up and surrounding me. Each one had either black or red eyes. I look around the room for a way to escape but see none. Someone grabs my shoulders causing me to scream and pull away. That only allowed the other people, or things, to start grabbing at me. I started feeling them pulling on my hair, kicking my legs and ankles, hitting me, hurting me. I'm screaming, telling them to stop. I feel one really good punch to my ribs and feel the air knocked out of me.

I open my eyes breathing heavily. My face is buried in what appears to be someone's chest. "Hey, shh, it's alright. It was just a dream." I hear feeling someone running their hands through my hair. I look up to see Connor looking down at me with worry in his crystal clear, blue eyes. I sigh in relief calming down from last nights dream. "Are you alright?" He asks pulling away from me slightly. I look up and give him what I hope was a convincing smile. "I am now." I answer sitting up. "Maybe we should pack up and go, the others might be a little worried seeing as it's already.... ten." Connor says pausing to look at his phone. "Wow. Yeah maybe we should." I say standing up. "I'll grab the table and chairs and stuff, do you mind folding the blankets for me?" He asks as he stands up from his spot on the ground. "Not at all."

I get up from the ground and brush off my clothes before grabbing the dark blue checkered blanket off the ground. I fold that up before grabbing one of the other three blankets and folding that. After I finished folding all four blankets I grab the pillows and put them on top of the pile of blankets, picking them up and carrying them to his car. I look back up at Connor who was just grabbing the speakers out of the tree and all of the other little decorations, putting them in the basket. "Thanks." He says walking over to me and placing a kiss upon my cheek.

We both climbed in the car, sharing a look with each other. I feel something warm on my leg and look down. Connor's hand is sitting palm up on my thigh. I pause for a second before intertwining our fingers and looking over at him with a smile. "So, after last night, what would you say to going on a second date?" Connor asks looking over at me with hopeful eyes. "I would say yes." I said looking at him through my lashes. "Really?!" He exclaims in surprise. "I really like you." I say to him looking back down at our intertwined hands. "Just promise me something?" I ask. "Anything." He says as he pulls over to the side of the road and looks at me. I meet his eyes before speaking, "Promise you won't hurt me. Physically or emotionally. I don't think I could handle it." I say. "I promise. I would never hurt you." He says, sincerity in his eyes. "Thank you."

We rode all the way back to our apartment building in silence. Not an uncomfortable silence, a relaxing silence. "We're here." Connor says drawing my eyes back to him. He climbs out of the car before coming over to my side and helping me out. I look up when I hear an obnoxious beeping sound in the car park. There I see Zach waving at me with a big grin on his face standing next to a familiar dark blue mustang with Genesis behind the wheel. "No way." I said a grin coming to my face. "What?" Connor asks looking to where I was. "Come with me." I say grabbing his hand and dragging him behind me. "Look what got here early this morning!!" Genesis exclaims getting out of the car. I nod excitedly as she tosses the keys to me. "Yay! I can't believe it's finally here." I say dropping Connor's hand to look over the car. "They scratched it." I say pointing out a small scratch upon the hood. "Oh, well it's not that big." I say walking over to the driver's side and sitting down. I run my hand over the dash smiling really big. "Can we go for a ride?"

And just like that, with one simple question from Zach, we are flying down a back road. Zach and I sitting up front with me driving, and Genesis and Connor, who reluctantly agreed to come, in the back. "This is awesome!" Zach shouts throwing his hands up and out the sunroof. I laugh before slowing down. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." I say looking over at him and slowing the car down. I start driving back to the apartment with Zach complaining the whole way. "We have to go back to the apartment sometime, I'm still in my clothes from yesterday." I say back to him. "Ugh fine." He complains crossing his arms. I smirk over at him before coming to a stop in front of the building. "I'll tell you what? First one inside get's five dollars from everyone." I say as I hop out. "Deal!" He yells grabbing the keys out of my hands and running up to the apartment. I laugh softly before pulling out my wallet and handing five dollars to Genesis. I try to hand Connor five dollars too but he just shakes his head, insisting he can handle it. We all three walk up to the apartment, Connor and I hand in hand and Genesis in front of us.

"I had a lot of fun last night." I say to him swinging our arms together. Genesis looks over at us with a sad smile before walking into our apartment. "I gotta go see what's up with her. Do you want to come in and talk to Zach for a bit?" I ask motioning to the door. He nods before the two of us walk in. Zach is standing next to the couch with a big grin on his face. I hand him the five dollars as Connor hands him five dollars. "Where'd Genesis go?" I ask him softly. "To her room I think." He answers. "Thanks. You stay here." I say brushing past him and walking to Genesis' room. I open the door to see Genesis sitting in her window seat. Although I can't see her face I can tell she is crying. "Hey." I say awkwardly walking up behind her. "Go away." Her voice cracks. "Now you know I can't do that." I say coming and sitting beside her. "Why don't you tell me what's wrong?" I ask reaching over and placing my hand on hers. She looks up at me with hurt etched across her face.

"E-ever since Connor and Zach came along, you haven't had time for me. You spend all your time with them." She says pulling her hand away. "Look at me." I say in a soft voice. When she doesn't respond I repeat it in a more forceful tone. She locks eyes with mine, green meeting blue, soul meeting soul. "You are my best friend. I promise I will always be there for you through the ups and downs, through the thick and thins. When you walked into my life, I never expected you to mean this much to me. You're my best friend. You make me smile everyday. There's so many reasons why you're my bestfriend, but the most important one is that you never left me, you never gave up on me, through my good and bad phases you were there, and I'm here for you." I say running my hands down her shoulders.

She looks at me with hopeful eyes before pulling me into a hug. "I love you." I whisper in her ear. "I love you too." She answers me her face buried in my left shoulder while mine is buried in her right one.

(Finally a Genesis and Tiffany moment. Haven't had very many of those. Here's what I'm thinking, I am going to speed this up a bit, as in just skipping some time in between chapters. I will be doing 5-10 more chapters in this story. And I'm going to let you decide if you want a sequel or not. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. Comment and vote for faster chapters. I want five votes before I upload the next chapter.)
