Hey beautiful, I was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk with me tonight?

I woke up to a text from Connor. I smile at his text before replying with a yes and making my way to the bathroom. After taking a quick shower I get dressed in a pair of distressed jeans, a blue colored long sleeve shirt, and a gray vest.

I blow dried my hair before curling it into small loose rings. I did light, natural make-up, before Genesis barged in the room. "You look amazing!" She exclaims before grabbing my hand. "No, no, no, this won't do." She shakes her head.

"We're going to go get manicures!" She raved dragging me out of the room. In the living room I saw, Grace, and Zach sitting on the couch talking in hushed whispers. "Let's go!" She exclaims to Grace while still dragging me along. "I'm not leaving Zach here alone." I tug my hand out of hers.

"It's okay. I'll go next door to Connor's." He says as I'm tugged out of the room again.

We arrive at the nail salon and I'm immediately brought to an already set up nail station. The lady sitting behind the counter starts working away on my nails. She starts by cleaning underneath the nails, making sure they're clean. After she is ready to start paint the nails, someone put their hands over my eyes. "Hey!" I exclaim in shock.

"It's a surprise, you gotta cover your eyes." Grace says before putting a blindfold over my eyes. I try to listen as Grace and Genesis whisper quietly somewhere else in the room. "It's almost done!!" Grace exclaims behind me putting a hand on my shoulder.

"All done." The lady said a few minutes later. They take off my blindfold so I can see. My nails were a pretty light pink color. The ring finger being the accent nail, was light pink sparkles. At the base of each nail was a small diamond shimmering under the light.

A small gasp escaped my lips. "I love it!!" I exclaim standing to hug my friends. "Ah, ah, ah." The lady chided. Laughing I walk over to sit at the nail drying station.

I look at the clock to see that it is already 4:00. "How is it already this late?" I ask standing up from my chair at the little cafe we had gone to. "What time are you meeting Connor?" Genesis asks also standing. "I'm supposed to meet him at the park at 5:00." I answer as I take the check up to the counter.

"I hope you have a wonderful day, Miss." The man behind the counter said with a smile. "Thank you. You too." I answer, before turning and leaving. "You can just drop us off at the apartment building and then head to the park." Genesis says smirking over at Grace. The two of them giggle about something before returning to their hushed whispers.

After I drive them to the apartment I drive to the park, at the entrance to the park Connor stood with his hands in his pockets. "Hey." I walk over and kiss him on the cheek. "Hey." He answers digging his hands deeper into his jean pockets. "What's wrong with you?" I ask taking in his nervous demeanor. "Nothing." He responds casually trying to make himself seem less uncomfortable.

I shrug it off as the two of us continue to walk through the park. We end up walking to a really dark area, deep within the park. Connor let's go of my hand and I hear his footsteps move away from me. "Connor?" I ask not being able to see him, or anything else for that matter, the trees above blocking the moonlight. All of a sudden a bright light comes on to my right. Looking over I see a big sign with the words, 'Will you marry me?' in them. I gasp feeling a tap on my shoulder, making me spin around.

Connor gets down on one knee, and grabs my left hand in his. "Tiffany Micheala Rose, I love you more than words can explain. I guarantee that there will be tough times. I guarantee that at some point one, or both of us if going to want to get out of this thing. But I also guarantee that if I don't ask you to be mine, I'll regret it for the rest of my life, because I know in my heart, you're the only one for me. I know it may be too early, but when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. That being said , will you make me the happiest person alive and marry me?" He asks hop shining in his eyes.

"Yes." I respond with tears of joy rolling down my face. "I will." I finish as he slides the ring on my finger and stands up grabbing my face in his hands, smashing his lips against mine. I pull away as I hear cheering behind us. Turning around I see everyone that I hold dear to me, Zach, Genesis, Grace, Will, Jay, Kelly, and Hank.

"You better hang on to this one, he asked everyone here for their blessing before asking you." Hank says coming up to me. "You did that? For me?" I ask looking back at Connor who was looking at me with a small smile on his face. "Of course. I know how important your family is to you." He responds. "And Genesis told me your proposal requirements." He awkwardly scratches the back of his neck. "Well I think you nailed it." I say pulling him into another kiss." We're interrupted by someone clearing their throat as Jay says, "No PDA." I stick my tongue out at him before pulling him into a hug.

"You guys are the best." I said to my family as they pulled me to the center of a group hug. "What do you say we take engagement pictures now?" My fiancé asks after everyone broke apart. "Yeah!" Everyone cheered, excited.

(Below is her ring, and how I imagined the proposal.)
