JB stood in front of the large building, his confidence coming and dropping, making it extremely hard for the boy to make a proud entrance. He didn't want to sell ice cream all his life, he also didn't want those years he studied music and dance to go to waste.
All his life he has been put down for not being good enough, bullied for his name and never had the courage to stand up for himself. He saw Youngjae as someone who knew nothing about him, someone he could be himself to without dragging the past. JB felt extremely bad for not replying to Youngjae's last text, the words he said encouraged him to do this. He did actually want to make others jealous of his name, he wanted to be more and prove everyone wrong. He knows he has to make it.
JB still remembers when he first auditioned for JYP, he felt so nervous and worried. However, the moment he took the stage he felt confident and knew nothing could hold him down and gave it his best. Here he is now, knowing that once he accepts his new role as a trainee a lot will change. But this is what he has saved money for, this is what he wants. Just as he is about to enter he notices another boy walking up. The closer he gets to the building the more of his features he can tell, and finds the boy quite familiar. It was one of Youngjae's friends, the one who seemed a little cocky for JB's liking. Mark noticed JB, and straight away he knew he was the guy he teased Youngjae about.
"You a trainee?" Mark walks up to JB, pointing at the building in front of them both.
"Not yet..." there's a slight pause. "You?" JB didn't know if he liked Mark, he seemed a littl bit too quiet, as if he was planning things in his head.
"Supposed to come in today," Mark says smiling, he was envious about the fact that Youngjae and JB were friends because he found it hard to make conversation with him.
"Me too," he silently sighed, this was his last shot at making it and he already had to do it with Mark. Neither of the boys knew why they were so vary of one another.
"Let's go then," Mark smiles trying to be friendly and started to walk. JB quickly followed, not wanting to look like he is following the older boy because he's not confident enough. Though the more he thought about it, the more he realised that maybe if Mark didn't show up he would of walked away. No, positive thoughts only.
The two entered through the glass doors and were both taken back about how expensive everything inside looked. There were large posters of all the artists that were currently or have been under JYP Entertainment, there were leather seats and expensive tables. The two boys walked to the front desk and introduced themselves before being led into another room.

"I can't wait to tell Lilah and Youngjae about today!" Mark beamed as he walked out of the JYP building, JB following behind rolling his eyes. There was no one he could go to and tell, no one to express to how well today went. Nobody cared enough, and that's the reason JB would always be so cold, since no one cared enough for him why should he care enough for someone else? "Are you not happy?" Mark looks at JB who forces a smile.
"Of course I'm happy, this is great." He says, looking onto the the street full of people.
"You don't seem it,"Mark adds, seeing the boy not be as enthusiastic as himself.
"I guess I don't express it when there's no one to express it to." JB coldly replied and turned away from Mark, ready to walk his own direction back to his small flat. Mark stood there for a moment not knowing why he was so off with him.
"Why don't you come out with Youngjae, Lilah and I? I think we planned on going out today if I did well," He didn't know why he was inviting him, he was convinced that they didn't really get on. But Mark felt sorry for JB, he wasn't so bad and today he saw just how talented he is. He believed that Youngjae could bring out the good side of him, just like he does with Mark.
"I don't want to be a burden, you three have fun," JB turned to go once again.
"You're Youngjae's friend right? I'm sure he would like to see you there too." Mark says, he was jealous of the fact that what he said is probably true. JB sighed and turned around, looking at Mark. Maybe he wasn't as bad as he thought, and if Mark thought that Youngjae wanted him there, maybe it was worth a shot?
"Fine," he agreed.
"I'll get Youngjae to text you," Mark smirked and turned around, walking back to the flat he was sharing with his sister and her best friend. JB was shocked that Mark knew he had his number, a few days ago Youngjae didn't even know him, does he talk about him to Mark? Loads of thoughts were racing through JB's mind, most of them consisted of the fact he could spend more time getting to know Youngjae, but his bigger concern was what he was going to wear tonight.
