When Youngjae woke up, it took him a while to realize that he was not in his bed. He had a hand over his body, which belong to JB. Their legs were intertwined too, and Youngjae slowly removed them before anyone else noticed. JB let out a small whine and pulled Youngjae closer, not wanting to let go of the younger.
Youngjae's eyes scanned the surrounding. Jackson was curled up in a ball by Mark, who's back was facing him. Yugyeom and Bambam were both dribbling, leaving Jinyoung to be the only one who was sleeping some what normally.
"Don't get up yet," JB whispered in Youngjae's ear as he pulled him even closer, making a small shiver go down his spine. Youngjae decided to follow the order and stay close to JB while he could. Youngjae had no idea what the members were like, would they ever accept JB and him if they were to be official? Would anyone?
JB ends up stretching slightly and letting Youngjae go, as he sits up and looks around. Youngjae takes this time to check JB out, smiling at how messy his hair looks first thing in the morning.
"Guys, get up." JB says coldly as he starts to poke and shake the other members, making Youngjae get up properly. He could hear BamBam complaining that he did not get enough beauty sleep and wanted to sleep longer, to which the leader just pulled him up.
"What is the schedule today anyway?" Yugyeom sighs, following in BamBam's attitude of not wanting to get up and do anything.
"Youngjae is being introduced as the new member to the public." Mark says proudly, making JB pout because he wanted to say it, but he does not complain out loud.
"Already?" Jinyoung adds, slightly shocked how quickly the company decided that they wanted to keep him.
"Yup!" JB answers happily.
"But what about my studies? I still go to University and-"
"You may not be able to graduate and have to wait for longer, you should of known what you wanted when you signed up for this." Jinyoung rolls his eyes. Youngjae can't seem to figure out if Jinyoung likes him as a person or not, he changes his attitude a lot around him.
"Oh," Youngjae says quietly, not wanting to be scolded anymore. He already missed Lilah and Coco, he didn't think it would be too hard, but maybe it will allow him to see why JB was not able to talk.
"Let's just get ready," JB sighs, grabbing Youngjae by his hand and taking him to his room. "They will change the bed from the double to bunk beds I think, though if you get lonely you can just come and cuddle me." JB smirks, causing a small blush to appear on Youngjae's cheeks.
"Thanks," he replies, watching JB's moves.
"Obviously it has it's own en suite, so just use it whenever." JB points to a closed door. "I think they will have an outfit for you to change into, they only want you to look your best." JB added.
Meanwhile, Lilah was sitting at home with Coco on her lap. The TV was tuned into the channel on which the boys would appear later that day. The house was so quiet, not that Youngjae ever made much noise, but it's a lot more empty now. The ring of the doorbell snaps Lilah out of her trace, putting Coco down and going to open the door.
"Moonbin?" Lilah smiles as she steps aside and lets him in.
"Morning, is Youngjae home?" He politely bows and Lilah sighs, shaking her head.
"He has gone to JYP, they will announce him as the newest member of GOT7 soon. Want to stay and watch?" She offers him. Moonbin is taken back, he never got a message from Youngjae to let him know.
"No, but thank you." He quickly answers and walks back out of the building. Lilah sighs, sitting back down with Coco. Moonbin wonders if this is how it is going to be, was their friendship not enough to Youngjae?
As Youngjae gets handed the clothes they want him to wear he looks them up and down. Ripped jeans, a white shirt with a black jumper over the top. If he was nervous was an understatement, this would be the first time the already existing fans of GOT would see him. So many thoughts were going through his head, he had no idea if he was good enough to be a part of this group. It was all happening too quickly.
"Relax," JB walks behind Youngjae, giving his back a slight massage.
"How did you know I wasn't?" Youngjae seems surprised.
"You looked stiff, also your face gave it away." JB chuckles and continues to massage his shoulders, causing Youngjae to move his head forwards a bit and a small groan to escape his lips. JB bites his lip and stop massaging, making Youngjae to turn around and pout.
"Why did you stop?" He keeps pouting.
"Because you have to get ready," JB pushes him towards the changing room. He wasn't lying, though he was also worried about being able to stay sane around Youngjae. Having him around all the time was going to turn out challenging for JB and he knew it.
Youngjae wasn't ready when they called all of them on stage and started the interview in front of a small crowd. JB done a lot of the speaking, with Jackson and Mark being forced to do some aegyo as well Yugyeom doing some dancing. Bambam dabbed a few too many times for everyone's liking while Jinyoung wasn't that energetic.
"Your newest member is Youngjae, how did that come around?" The interviewer asks JB.
"We were looking for another member to make the group GOT7, and went for a search around the music departments of Universities. Youngjae stood out to everyone the most with the track he has produced with his partner." JB explains. A few more questions and answers are exchanged before the interview comes to an end and they are dismissed.
