A Stranger {Youngjae, JB, 2Jae}

As the day went on, Youngjae kept taking notes from class. He knew that soon he'd be put in a group to work with someone on the new project, and he wanted to be prepared. This would be a good distraction to Youngjae, as JB did leave him on 'read' from their last conversation. Also, they don't get put into groups in University very often, it's usually exams and coursework that has to be worked on individually, so this was something to look forward to. 

"Please don't try to change the person you are working with. It is both disrespectful to me as I paired you as well as to the person. Everyone in this group is highly capable to produce a great song, which will be evaluated by myself and a special guest." The lecturer speaks, snapping Youngjae out of his thoughts. Youngjae didn't mind who he worked with, because even if he got paired with someone who did not care much about the work, he would get it done. 

"Youngjae and Moonbin," Surprisingly, Youngjae's name was the first to be called out. He didn't really speak much to his university class mates, but bowed respectfully when Moonbin came to sit higher in the lecture room next to Youngjae. He was scared it was going to be awkward, he knew Moonbin was a hard working student too, they were both often within the top 5 results. 

The boys sit quietly next to each other while their lecturer carries on telling the rest of the students who they are going to be working with. They also remain quiet for when the assignment is being explained. They had to produce a song, meaning they had to compose it themselves, think of lyrics as well as the beat and music. Youngjae chose to study music to be able to be creative, so this was nothing he was worried about. 

"Composing I can do, but lyrics? That's sometimes a bit tricky," Moonbin tells Youngjae, as they both finish writing down notes about what can and cannot be used. For example, they cannot use another tracks lyrics and just compose new music. 

"Lyrics are easy if there is inspiration, sometimes things that happen in life end up helping to write lyrics." Youngjae smiles, he already knew that his partner was going to pull his weight, meaning that this could be a great assignment. 

"Are you happy to like meet up in spare time to work on it as well as in lecture times?" Moonbin seemed shy when speaking to Youngjae, making sure he was speaking formally. It surprised Youngjae, he sort of expected him to be informal with him. 

"Of course, we can also work on bits separately then come together and discuss it!" Youngjae started to feel excited, already trying to figure out the best way to set a schedule and work on this project. Since this class, JB has not even entered Youngjae's mind, and that was something that allowed him to get on with other things. 

The rest of the lecture the two spent speculating what they want the song to be on. Romantic? Heartbroken? Happy? Sad? There were so many options for the two to consider, which would also affect the tempo of the music. 

"Lyrics wise, it's said to be easy to write about heartbreaks?" Moonbin suggests. Youngjae nods not being sure. "Go on, tell me about how your last girlfriend broke up with you, maybe we can find a starting point there?" Moonbin asked Youngjae, some might of find it rude to ask, but Youngjae found it acceptable. The other boy didn't know about his sexuality, or the fact that he has not dated very much, plus, it could help them make a starting point. 

"I've not really dated girls..." Youngjae says quietly, unsure of the response from his newly assigned partner. 

"Ahhh I see, last time a guy broke your heart?" Moonbin didn't seem phased, which made Youngjae smile a little bit to himself. 

"I've not really dated a guy either, like once when I found out my sexuality but other than that I've not really been with anyone, and even then me and him were not together." Youngjae didn't exactly lie, his first was a mistake, and him and JB are not dating so.
