Steve and Tony seemed to butt heads more than anyone else who lived in the Avengers tower. Whether it be who left a dish out on the side or who broke something, Tony and Steve seemed to blame each other over anyone else. It would bring the whole atmosphere to an icy one whenever they were in the same room, everyone would watch what they said in front of either of them and it was just getting too much.
Tony had had enough of it, he clearly hated Steve and he was letting it affect the team.
"I can't do this anymore Steve. You are always making messes. I can't deal with that anymore alright." Tony said as he walked away. Steve looked on as Tony walked away.
You were walking down to the ground floor about to head out on a food run when Tony walked past you ,from the main room looking, angry. You went to see what had happened, even though you could guess Tony and Steve had argued again.
"Steve, hey what's wrong I could hear you from downstairs, you know you should stop having so many thoughts. They were kinda overpowering me." You joke as you take a step closer to him. He just turned and walked towards the window looking below to the busying streets.
You tried to get into his head to see what was wrong but after he had trained with Natasha he was getting good at blocking out.
"Steve...I can't help if I don't know what's wrong now can I love? Please tell me." You tried again and this time you got through. You saw the argument that the two of them had and the harmful words tony and spilled out of anger. .
"I'll kill him" You say to yourself .
"No you won't, you can't, he's your brother".
"Steve, he hurt you I need to do something." And with that you walked out to try and find Tony.
After what seemed like hours you found Tony, in his lab working around the arguments stress by busying himself with his work, and confronted him
"Tony Stark what have you done, Steve is your oldest friend, how can you hurt him like that after what he did for you when Loki attacked." He didn't say anything he just turned away to look anywhere but you. "Look at me." You demanded with this he jumped. He looked at you dead in the eye. You could see tears forming, it hurt you too see him like this but it was his own fault. After he said nothing you shook your head and walked away. "I thought you were different." You said under your breath as you slowly slipped away.
When you got back from the store Thor came running to you and grabbed some bags
"Let me help you Lady Stark." He smiled carrying them in. You laughed and shook your head. As you got to the kitchen you saw a few plates missing from the cupboard. You knew who had them and sighed. You followed the sound of Black Sabbath and that's when you found the missing plates and your brother alongside them. Bruce grabbed your arms and pulled you aside
"I would leave him alone for a bit, he seems...well.... angry." You both flinched at the sound of smashing plates. You poked your head passed the door frame to see Tony smashing them.
