(A/N HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)

(A/N WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! You're heart will possibly be broken, then stamped on, then ripped out, then shoved back in with an extra dollop of feeling. WARNING! WARNING! FEELS ALERT! I FEEL BAD FOR THE READER ABOUT TO CRY. Read to the end of the chapter before abandoning my horrible story, though. It may turn out differently than it sounds like it will;)

I didn't know how long I had been falling when I opened my eyes again. Somehow Annabeth and the other living demigods had gathered together and were holding each other and me. The others saw my eyes were open and we all fell in silence, bonded by a deep grief. Annabeth pressed her lips to my cheek and stared into my eyes, her storms swirling and almost distraction from the single, crystal tear running down her cheek. And so we fell, bound together by love and grief and experience, a shattered family.

We had been falling for hours when I felt my eyes begin to close. Looking around in sleepy alarm, I saw the others were falling asleep spontaneously too. I fought to stay awake, but I had no choice in the matter. After I got out of Tartarus I was gonna find Hypnos and punch him in the nose for doing this. Our eyes closed and we fell into a deep, unwanted, ANNOYING sleep.

----I'm a DREAMY line break! Wait, I think that came out wr----

All seven demigods, plus Sally, Paul, Nico, Thalia, and Reyna were standing in front of the assembled Olympians. We all glanced at each other and bowed, me rather sarcastically.

"We're sorry for your loss," Poseidon said sympathetically. I felt myself tearing up. Reyna and the other dead were just spirits, I saw now, with no substance. Hades stood in a corner of the room looking annoyed. I shot him a look and he nodded frightfully. Reassured that the dead would make it to Elysium, I faced Zeus.

"We cannot offer all of you godhood. We can turn three," Zeus stated. I stepped forward, getting angry, when Hestia interrupted.

"No! We cannot turn any. The spell will take all their souls if we tried."

Zeus looked at her, annoyed.

"Anything else I should know about the spell?" He asked.

"Yes, actually. We cannot effect their ages, we cannot teleport them in any way, we cannot break the spell, and there are a few others that are less important" Hestia said. Zeus shot her a glare and she shrugged.

"I see. Do you have any requests? I will see what I can do about them."

Thalia turned to Artemis, sorrow in her eyes.

"Mistriss, I would wish to become apart from the hunters for a time, at least until I am old enough to escape this curse," she said, her eyes down in shame. Artemis smiled sadly and nodded. Thalia winced and slumped slightly. Aphrodite sat forward in her throne, interested, but Artemis sent her a glare that would petrify Medusa.

"Have Will Stoll burn a food-making plate for Hermes. It'll hopefully end up at the Hermes shrine in Tartarus. We'll need food," Annabeth-beautiful, ever planning Annabeth-said.

"Have the demigod camps believe we're dead," Nico said. We all looked at him in shock.

"There are no friendly titans or giants, and no doors of death this time," Nico reminded us. "We have to try and climb out the hard way. The chance of death is so high-I don't want them to have false hope."
