The Concert

We went outside to wait until we were allowed back in. We stood in line waiting until the doors opened again. We were going in one by one. When it was my turn to show my VIP badge the guy handed me a backstage pass. I grabbed it and went inside. I noticed Batman and Lisa had gotten one too. "Wow guys!! I wasn't expecting to get backstage passes." Lisa said as she examined the pass. "I'm surprised too. Did they hand them out to everyone?" I asked looking at the other fans that had VIP passes. They were wearing their backstage pass around their neck. "Yeah. This is Awesome!!" Batman said happily as we walked towards the stage. Batman was right. Getting VIP meant we can go in early and get a good spot. For me that was in front of the mic. Lisa and I waited as everyone went to the merch table or got drinks. Batman went to buy a beer then came to stand behind me and Lisa. I got onto facebook to announce my good fortune. "Me and Lisa met Adam and are now waiting for the concert to begin. We also have backstage passes!!! This is a night I won't forget. :) <3" I added the picture of me, Adam, and Lisa then tagged Lisa. "This is so cool!!" I've never been backstage." Lisa excitedly said as I nodded. "Me too. I can't wait!!" More people started to walk in which meant the first band would be starting soon. The first band was a local band called Sea of Silence. The next band that was touring with Saint Asonia was Bullet for My Valentine and Bring Me the Horizon. It was going to be an awesome concert. People were filling the theater as the lights dimmed and the first band came on stage. The singer was a girl that was a screamer. Batman was getting into the music and was already bumping into people while holding on to his beer. "Scream that shit!!" Batman yelled as he jumped up and down behind us. I was just hoping his beer didn't spill on me. I didn't want to reek of beer. It got worse when Bullet for My Valentine came on. Lisa and I had to hang on to each other as the crowd was getting wild. A girl was pushing me, trying to steal my spot but Batman grabbed her and pulled her back. The crowd was causing security to jump in and grab people. Batman watched over me and Lisa as people were pushing against each other. If I thought that was bad, Bring Me the Horizon amplified it. Batman started a mosh pit that was right behind us. He took off his shirt and handed me his backstage pass for me to hold. A guy was jumping up and down as Batman went and pushed him. Everyone joined in as the crowd went crazy. Oliver started yelling at the crowd. Someone had thrown beer at him and now he was pissed. Oliver was yelling at the guy then threw beer back at him. The guy jumps on stage to fight with Oliver. Batman also jumps on stage to help Oliver. I was in shock as security and the band crowded the stage. The crowd was yelling and cheering. Security tried to grab Batman but he got loose from their hold and jump off the stage, climbing over people to stand behind us. He was heaving from the adrenaline rush. "Oliver you rock!!!" Batman yelled as the stage cleared out. I had enough excitement for a lifetime. Then the band I was waiting for finally came out. Saint Asonia. The lights dim as the band walks out. Adam came out and was right in front of me. He looks out at the crowd and stops when he notices me in front of him. Is it my imagination or is he staring at me? He looks away as the band starts to play. Finally. The band I came to see was about to perform.
