We arrived early in the morning at the Vancouver airport searching for Adam. Batman was helping us carry our luggage since he didn't bring much.
"He should be here. Help me find him." I said to Lisa and Batman. We both searched through the crowds of people. I was excited to see him. Butterflies were flying in my stomach from the nervousness of seeing him again. I've never felt this way before. Could he be the one?
I kept searching until I spotted him. I smiled instantly. I watched as he laughed from something Mike had said. It felt like a dream. The man I was falling for, was standing there, waiting for me. I took in a deep breath and went towards him. Batman and Lisa followed behind. I wanted to run to him and hug him but I didn't want to cause a scene.
We walk up to Adam and Mike. Adam looks down at me as I look up at him. We both stare and smile at each other. We said everything we wanted to say with just a look. He gives me a quick peck on the lips then grabs my hand to lead us to the vehicle they came in. Mike open the trunk so Batman could put our luggage inside. Batman called out shotgun and sat up front with Mike. Adam, me, and Lisa sat in the backseat.
Vancouver was beautiful. I was wondering if we would have time to sight see. It didn't matter though. Sitting next to Adam and spending time with him was all I really cared about.
We arrived at the hotel they were staying at. Adam helped with our luggage as we went inside the stunning hotel. It was magnificent. I've never been in an elegant hotel before. Me, Batman, and Lisa stared in wonder at our surroundings. We went into the elevator and Mike press the button for the third floor.
"We have the third floor to ourselves. I got a room for you and Lisa. Batman. Oliver said you could room with him. He was happy to hear that you were coming. Just try not to get into any more bar fights." Adam said as the elevator doors opened. We saw the band members talking in the hallway. Some were getting into the elevator.
"I can't promise you anything but I will try." Batman said as we walked down the hall. All three bands had a show tomorrow. It was a huge festival here in Vancouver. Today was their off day to relax and have free time.
"This is Oliver's room. He should be there. He was going to wait for you then take you down to the lobby to eat breakfast. That's where we're all going." Adam said to Batman. "Ok. I'll meet ya'll down there. I'm starving." Batman banged on the door for Oliver to open it. I laughed knowing it probably sounded like the police knocking.
Adam lead me and Lisa to our room. He put our luggage down to open the door with a key card. He opened the door and then gave me the key card. He gave Lisa one too. We went in and I couldn't believe how beautiful the room was. The massive windows also revealing the beauty of the city.
"Adam, this is so wonderful. Thank you." I said with tears in my eyes. No one has ever done anything like this for me and not just for me but also my friends. He saw my tears and gave me a hug.
"I would do anything for you to make you happy." I wiped at my tears. "It does. These are happy tears." I laughed nervously. Embarrassed that my emotions were out of control.
"Go ahead and freshen up. My room number is thirty-three. Knock on the door when you're both ready to go eat breakfast." Adam informed us. "Ok." I said as Adam closed the door behind him.
Me and Lisa changed clothes and fixed our hair and make-up. We then went to Adam's room and I knocked on the door. He opened the door and I could smell his masculine cologne that he loved to wear. The smell was intoxicating. I swallowed hard as my senses were devouring the sight and smell of this man. He smiled at us as he grabbed my hand and lead us to the lobby where they were serving breakfast.
There were so many selections. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit. We picked what we wanted and went to sit with the rest of the guys. Batman already devouring his food. We took our seat to eat. The food was delicious.
"So what are we doing today? I've never been in Vancouver. What's there to do here?" Batman asked. Oliver swallowed his food down. "There's a shit load to do. There's the ice skating place and the night clubs. It'll be killer fun."
"I'm not going to tag along. The last time I invited you two to join me I got arrested. I would like me and Renee to spend some time together this time." Adam said laughing at the memory.
Batman looked up from his food. "Don't worry. There will be no fighting. We'll be on our best behavior." Both Batman and Oliver both looked at us smiling trying there best to look innocent. Batman added, "It's fun when were all together. A big family outing."
"Alright. How does that sound Renee? Skating and then dancing." I smiled warmly at him. "Sounds like fun. I've never been ice skating before. I might need lessons."
"I'll teach you. Being Canadian you learn how to skate before you learn how to walk." He said laughing at his comment.
We were finishing our breakfast when Batman announced, "Is everyone ready? Let's go."
I was drinking my orange juice when I noticed Matt Tuck from Bullet for my Valentine staring at Lisa. Lisa was too busy eating to notice. He seemed interested in her. I smiled to myself with this new information.
