We all got up to leave to the ice skating rink. We piled up in rented vehicles as all the band members joined in. When we arrived Adam held my hand as we went to get our skates. It was my first-time ice skating. I knew hockey was a favorite sport in Canada. Adam and I sat down to put our skates on. He then helped me to walk to the ice. I was wobbling as I tried walking on skates.

"Don't let me fall." I said gripping on to him with my life.

He chuckled, "I'm not going to let you fall. Try to balance yourself on the skates."

We entered the ice and I was sliding everywhere. I grabbed on to Adam even more.

He laughed. "How are you going to learn to skate if you're hanging on to me?" "I'm going to fall." "You're not going to fall. I got you. Bend your knees. Try to balance then you can move on the skates." He said helping me to stay balance without me holding on to him.

"Now to move just slide your foot back to move forward then with the next foot. Watch I'll show you." He demonstrated how to move on the skates. I stood there watching hoping I would be able to do it. Now I knew how a baby deer feels when it's born and trying to walk for the first time.

"I'll hold your hands so you'll have extra support. Ready?" "No but I'll try." He smiled causing me to smile. "Try to keep yourself balanced as you move forward. When you're off balance then you'll feel like you're going to fall." He grabbed my hands as he skated slowly backward. I felt like I was going to fall but tried to move forward by sliding my foot back. The ice making it harder to stay balance.

"I'm going to fall." I yelped as I grabbed on to him. "I got you." He said as I almost went down but he help me to stand again. "You just have to get used to it then you'll be skating by yourself." I tighten my grip on Adam. "Well it won't be any time soon." He grinned as he let me try again.

Batman sped by with Oliver as they zoomed by. Batman having no trouble skating. I glanced around to see how everyone else was doing. Matt was helping Lisa. She was better at keeping her balance but was having trouble to balance as she moved. Matt was helping her as Adam was helping me. I was happy that Matt was helping her. Maybe it was what he needed to start talking to her. I smiled as I watched them. I took my attention away from Matt and Lisa to stare at Adam. How did I get so lucky? Adam noticed me staring at him.

"What?" He asked. "Just can't believe you're taking your time to help me." He smiled at my comment. "I can't let you fall. I would be an asshole of a boyfriend if I did." I started to move forward trying not to fall when I heard a loud commotion from the crowd of people. Me and Adam both looked to see what it was about. I thought it was Batman fighting someone but I was shocked to see that it was Matt. He held a guy against the wall saying something to him but I was too far to hear. Batman and Oliver were trying to talk him down. Telling him to let the guy go. Matt was pissed.

"Adam can you help me get to Lisa. I don't know what's going on but I saw Matt helping her. I need to make sure she's ok." Adam helped me to skate towards Lisa. I was sliding in all kinds of directions but Adam got me to her. Lisa sat on the ice. She had a cut on her lip.

"Lisa are you ok? What happened?" I asked as I got on my knees to sit with her. "I'm ok.. It just stings. Matt was helping me to skate when some jerk pushed me down. Matt got angry and went after the guy."

I glanced at the guys. Batman and Oliver grabbed Matt and pulled him away from the guy. Matt already in a foul mood tries to fight Batman and Oliver. They're fighting and rolling on the ice as more of the band members goes to break up the fight. I stared in amazement.

"Do guys just want to fight all the time? This is already the second fight in just a couple of days." I asked Adam as we watch the band members pull Batman, Oliver, and Matt apart. "We're stuck in a bus for hours a day with the same people. It can make you a little aggressive." Adam said as the guys started to calm down. I stood with the help from Adam and helped Lisa up.

"Let's go back to the hotel so you can put ice on your lip and we can get ready to go out tonight." I said to Lisa. Adam helped us to get back on the concrete floor so we could put our shoes on. We decided for Adam to take us back to the hotel then to come back to the ice rink for the others. The guys could have their alone time while us girls had ours.
