Facing The Mirror

Megan

Adam POV                                      

Surprised wasn't even close to what I was feeling. What the f*ck was she doing here? So many thoughts were crossing my mind but the one that worried me the most was would Renee be upset? Would Megan get upset and blame Renee? So many scenarios but I had to focus on the now which was Megan.                      

"Why are you here Megan? We were going to see each other when the tour ended and why are you in Andy's dressing room? Is he the reason you're here?" She seemed irritated as she closed the door behind me. 

"Andy did me a favor and contacted me letting me know what you were doing behind my back. Tell me Adam, when we're you going to tell me about your new friend? Does she know that we're still together?" Megan said icily. 

I could tell she was holding in her temper as she stood in front of me with her arms crossed showing little emotion. This is my fault but I wanted to let her know in person, but not like this, not with Renee waiting for me and us talking in Andy's dressing room. 

"I'm sorry it happened this way. I wanted to tell you when I visited you and not over the phone. I met Renee and I had feelings for her. To be honest Megan I felt our relationship becoming distant before meeting Renee. It became more apparent when I met Renee because of what I felt for her. I hope you understand and that we can remain friends. It has nothing to do with you. We are two different people from when we first met. We've changed and that just strained our relationship and caused us to be distant. I was always on tour and you kept to yourself spending more time with your friends. Even when I was off tour we never spent time together because you had other obligations and I just had to find something to do. We weren't happy and I know you felt it too." 

Megan did an evil smirk which meant she was pissed. "So that means you can go and cheat on me? That's all you do when you get lonely and need attention. Find a fan and have a good time with them and when you're done you come back to me. How do you think that makes me feel? You say you love me but I know that's a lie. You're only using me. Well two can play that game. I only put up with you because I can meet other rock stars and do exactly what you're doing. You're not the only one hooking up in this relationship." Megan shouted revealing her anger and not trying to be the ice queen anymore. 

"What the f*ck? I've never cheated on you since we've been together. Renee is the only one I've met and I was planning to tell you in person. What do you mean you're not the only one hooking up? Did you cheat on me with Andy? That would explain you being here in his dressing room. You should be happy now because you can be with him all you want. It's over between us Megan. I wanted it to be where we agree that we're not right for each other but I guess you already decided that when you cheated on me. When was that? When Andy was still married? Is that why Juliet divorced him?" I yelled with anger knowing that I tried to make the relationship work but it was all for nothing as she didn't care about me to begin with. 

"I knew you would cheat on me. Girls are always flirting with you and you can't go without companionship. You're so needy it's pathetic. I just needed to tell you how much I loved you and how I'll always support you and I had you doing whatever I wanted. The same with all the others. Men are so predictable." I thought I knew her but I didn't know her at all. All the years we were together was all a lie. I'm happy I met Renee because I would have been stuck in a loveless relationship with the person secretly hating me and cheating behind my back. 

"I'm done Megan. We're through. Just stay out of my way while you're here and I'll stay out of yours." I was about to open the door to leave when she stopped me. 

"It's not over yet Adam. The reason I'm here is because I have something to tell you. I'm pregnant."
