What Ball?
I woke up to the feeling of water dominating my face. What the? Water?
Startled, I slowly opened my eyes to see my sister sprinking water all over my face with a smirk plastered on her angelic beauty.
"Seriously Belle?! You could've just woke me up properly!" I yelled at her as I wiped my face dry.
"You know that won't work dear sister." She rolled her perfectly brown eyes. Screw those eyes. I lazily got up and walked my way to the bathroom.
"Be down in five!" Belle instructed.
"Fine" I mumbled.
You are beautiful.
I smiled as I recalled last night's moments.
"Hey.. What are you staring at?" I told my reflection.
I am going mad!! I laughed at myself and washed my face. Hmm. Widely awake here! I tied my long dark brown hair into a high ponytail and grabbed my 'Talk to he hand' sweater. I rushed downstairs to see the usual morning scenario.
My mom was preparing the table and my dad working over his laptop while drinking coffee. I saw my sister outside talking to someone over the phone. She was smiling like an idiot. Wild guess, her boyfriend's incharge for this giddy mood of hers.
Belle's an aphrodite. She gets guys falling at her feet; yet she's only dated two hot guys before.
I on the other hand, the hopeless romantic sweetheart. Let me tell you, crying your eyes out and watching chick-flick movies with popcorn all over the floor after a breakup is so not my thing. That feeling of being vulnurable is the worst feeling I ever know. It's just.. not for me.
You know, the best way to prevent your heart from getting broken is to act like you don't have one.
Recalling times, when I was in my sophomore year someone tried (cue word; tried) to give me flowers during valetines. But being the bitch I am, I smacked the bouquet on his face and yelled incoherent words at the poor guy. Harsh. Yep, ever since that incident.. No one dared. I guess no one will ever dare.
"Jealous there huh?" Ashton, my devil of a brother smirked.
"Get lost jerk." Without letting him say another word, I strided down the hall.

"Andrea and I will go strolling in the mall later, if you don't mind."
"You're not going anywhere young lady." I choked on my water as soon as those words left my dad's mouth.
"What did I do now?!" I diverted my gaze to my annoying brother, who surprisingly was also shocked.
"Dear, you're going to a formal ball tonight." What?
"WHAT THE??"
"Calm down Amy. You have nothing to worry about, you'te sister's going too." My dad suggested.
"It's not my thing! You know that pretty well! Ashton could go instead." I shot him the deadliest glare I've ever made.
"No, you are going. It's you're punishment for coming home seven in the evening yesterday." I stared ay my dad with my mouth slightly opened.
"My curfew is 9pm dad." I countered.
"You didn't inform us where you were going and you were with some guy."
"Dad, he's Jordan. My friend."
"Just a friend?" My dad took a sip from his coffee.
"Ofcourse.. It's just been four weeks since I was in school. And I NEVER date." I emphasized the never.
"Great. So.. You'll be leaving at five."
*~*
I ran up the stairs and rushed to my room. I sank in my bed when I suddenly heard a knock on my door.
"Get in!" I yelled knowing who it was.
"Time for fixing you up!" My sister screeched.
"I'm not broken. You don't need to fix me."
"Very funny Amy." Belle stated sarcastically.
Without another word, she grabbed my arm and sat me down facing the dresser.
"Let's get started." She demanded.
After an hour of doing her magic, I opened my eyes to see a different.. Me? Belle really did justice to my beauty eh.
I look exactly like myself.. Yet completely different. You know that?
I planted the red dress on my body and strapped the black stilettos on my feet.
The red dress had trails of black swarovski crystals on the sweet heartline of the bust spreading elegantly down the stomach.
Belle had her light brown hair tied in a loose ponytail with two strands falling down the sides of her face and her make up was naturally done. Her Matt Gold cocktail was sparkly and it made her skin glow. She had this six-inched Brown pumps on, which matched the gems on her waist and if you look closely, it matches her eyes too.
"You look beautiful Belle." I smiled shyly at her.
"No Amy, we look beautiful."
After a few pictures taken, we drove through the night.

The Venue was well lighted and elegantly clothed people walked their way gracefully inside.
I figited with my nails. I'm nervous! My sister snapped my hand away and held it in hers as we walked out the car. We entered the gigantic hall and was greeted by random people. I can't believe it! I'm in a ball!
My sister released my hand and winked at me before she disappeared through the hall. Great! Oh God! Please abide with me through the night!
