Ignore Me
Surviving hell of three weeks without much drama seems easier than I thought. Projects that were needed to be accomplished; check. Dance practices; check. Applying proper make-up (when I say proper it means not looking like a retarded panda); check and here's the smoothest part, Three weeks spared me from stupid teenage emotions.
Ignore him. Ignore Jordan.
Easier said than done, kudos to me! Look straight. Stay away if Andrea and him are together. Fight yo blushing when he compliments. Keep a straight face. Just follow these steps and you'll be fine. You can do it, you're Amethyst Dewford for fvck's sake!
"Amy? What's wrong?" Laura soothed my back.
"What's wrong?" I glanced at her and she chuckled.
"What's wrong Amy? You aren't bubbly for the past three weeks!"
"Nothing's wrong! I even got my grades sky rocketing! Isn't that a good thing?" I faked giddyness.
Unfortunately, Laura is someone you can't fool. She sees right through you like you're transparent. Or maybe.. Am I that obvious?
"Laura, how am I?"
"How are you? What?" She stared at me; confused.
"What do you think is wrong with me?" I chuckled
"You seem troubled. I don't know if you miss Matt.. Or if it's about you ignoring Jordan." shit Matt. I totally forgot about him! Where the hell is he by the way?
"Both." I gave Laura a weary smile as she held out her hands to sqeeze me. "Everything's gonna be fine Amy." She whispered before pulling away.

"So Drew, what do you think?"
"I think it's lame. Your report is pretty lame"
"Uggghhhh! Drew I threw about five sheets away already!"
"Then change your choice of words."
"This book report is stupid."
I groaned in frustration as I crampled the shitty paper in my hand. Sitting on the bleachers on chilly afternoon never gives me even the slightest bit of satisfaction.
"Can't we just do this piece of shit tonight?" I mumbled.
"And what? Cram? Amy this piece of shit is to be passed first thing in the morning tomorrow!"
"I'm tired"
"It's still early Amy"
"It's five-thirty."
Drew snorted and continued on writing her part of the report. Girl genius she is; she never finds it hard to jumble words and create sentences out of it.
"Hey." I froze as my mind started proccessing whose voice it belonged to. My stomach churned and I felt something I never felt for the last three weeks; excitement.
"What's up Jordan?" Drew casually spoke. I kept my gaze on my paper. From the corner of my eye I saw Jordan's shadow slump beside me.
"What are you doing?"
"Book report." I shrugged.
"Amy can we talk?"
"I'm busy Jordan." I gave him a five second stare; my eyes still expressionless.
"I won't take long-"
"I'm not in the mood." I snapped
"Are you?-"
"Ignoring you? Yep. Now leave" way to play cool Amy. Wtf.
Drew cleared her throat probably sensing the tightening of the atmosphere. "Jordan, we should keep going. My buddy here is tired."
Collecting my papers and tugging Drew by her arm, I took a glance back at Jordan whose trying to read my eyes. I wanted to tell him something I've been dying to tell him. Opening my mouth, I spoke
I like you Jordan.
"I'm sorry Jordan."
