It Felt Like Forever

Chapter Three: Date

Gerard's pov

As soon as I got home from Macy's after buying my sweater and lipgloss I set my bag on the table and pull out the receipt and see the cashier's phone number and Kik username. I was debating whether or not I should text him that day or wait.

I didn't know what to do so I just got in the bath, made dinner, and went to bed. I kept waking up in the middle of the night. I woke up around 5:30am and really couldn't go back to sleep due to a bad dream I had about monsters. I was bored when I woke up so I decided to text Frankie. It was about 5:45 or so when I texted him and I wasn't really expecting a text back because it was so late.

BabyGee💕:  uh, hey. I saw that you put your Kik username on my receipt yestarday.

BabyGee💕: im the boy that bought that sweater at Macy's yestarday.....

*delivered at 5:47am*

I didn't know if I was going to get a response any time soon...I hope I did.

XoFrnk💀: Hey, sorry. I went to bed as soon as I got home last night.

I take a quick glance at my phone and see that it's from the same boy from yesterday! Right when I look at my phone and I could feel a smile start to form on my face and I began to blush.

BabyGee💕: Your fine....so..why did you give me your number and Kik?

XoFrnk💀: Um, I don't know. You just really caught my eye I guess. I just really wanted to get to know you more.

I caught his eye? What does that mean. Did I catch his eye as in he thought I was a weird freak or did he like me....I really hope it was my second thought.

BabyGee💕: Oh...ok. well my name is Gerard. I'm 22, I'll be turning 23 in a month and a half. I live alone and in currently single. My last boyfriend dumped me due to past decisions I made.....

XoFrnk💀: Well hi Gerard. Im Frank. I'm 23. Im also single and live alone. What were those last decisions you made if I may ask?

BabyGee💕: Well as you can tell, I wear sweaters and skirts and thigh highs and garters...my past boyfriend hated when I chose to start wearing that because that made me comfortable, its been 4 years since I've made that decision, been single since.

Frick! Why did I tell him that!? He's not gonna want anything to do with me anymore! Dang it!!

XoFrnk💀: I'm sorry to hear that Gerard. I think it's perfectly fine that you dress the way you do, just as long as your comfortable.

H-he didn't care, he accepts me....maybe he really does like me.

BabyGee💕: Wow, I've never had anyone really accept me and i usually always get judged wherever I go in public....Thank you Frank❤.

XoFrnk💀: No Problem Gerard. You seem like a really nice guy. I was gonna ask if you wanted to meet up at Starbucks or somewhere later and talk some more....but it's up to you, I know we only talked for like 5 minutes but I really want to talk more...in person.

Did he just ask me to meet up. Was this like a date? Does he like me? Is he using me? Frick! I had so many thoughts going through my head hoping they would all be cleared away once I saw Frank again.

BabyGee💕: OMG! yes! I would love that Frank. I'm actually free now if that's okay with you?

XoFrnk💀: Uh yeah! that sounds great. Want to meet up at the Starbucks near my work around noon?

BabyGee💕: yes! that sounds great. See you then Frankie!

And just like that I threw my phone on my bed and went straight to my closet. I had no idea what to wear. Should I wear a skirt with my new sweater or should I get wear some jeans with a band shirt?? ughh I had no idea what to do.

After about 30 minutes of panicing and deciding what to wear I chose to wear the new sweater I bought yesterday and I pulled out a white skirt from my drawer with some light pinkish-tan thigh highs. I drabbed some kitten socks with my black hightop converse. Once I was done getting my clothes on I walked to the bathroom and pulled out baby blue hairbrush and started brushing my hair. I grabbed my eyeliner, mascara, and new lipgloss from the cabinet and gently put some on.

I stepped back and looked at myself. I couldn't help but blush at myself. I actually felt so cute and I hope Frankie thought the same. I walked out of the bathroom and went in my room to grab my phone and keys and walked out the door and got in the car and started driving to Startbucks to meet up with Frankie.
