Chapter twenty three

MARK'S POV

"It's been so long. Finally missed me?" Jeno said while giving me bro hug. I decided to meet them.

"You missed us, didn't you?" Jaemin said.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I?" Only Jaemin and Jeno were free right now. I wanted to meet others too but they had their own things to do.

I'm being selfish too. I asked to meet them knowing Hae Ra was busy today. She had to meet Miyeon noona.

"What are we waiting for?" Jeno said and we walked to Waffle Palace. It's new here. Meera noona recommended this place. When it comes to food you should definitely trust her.

"I'll bring the orders." I stood up and ordered waffles for us. "Hows your girlfriend?" Jeno asked. "Well it should be 'who is your girlfriend?'" Jaemin corrected him and then winked.

He is just playing around. He knows about Hae Ra!

"Cmon. Tell him." He nudged him. Jeno's eyes narrowed in confusion. "You know?" He asked Jaemin.

"He didn't tell me. I have my ways." He raised his hands to surrender. They both argued playfully and turned to me.

Should I? Should I? Can I?

"It's..."

"It's?"

"Hae Ra." I sighed in relief. I looked at Jeno. "Don't joke Mark. Now tell me. Who is she?" He got serious.

"Why would I lie?"

"And why would a girl like her who is hot as fuck date a clueless guy like you." I parted my lips to say something but couldn't. Jaemin talked to him. He probably got him convinced 'coz his eyes widened in shock.

"You're so lucky." He commented.

I know I am. Then I told them our story.

"But she's your noona, right?" I just shrugged my shoulders. Now it didn't matter to us. We are happy. Thats what matters.

"These waffles are so good~" Jaemin cooed while stuffing his mouth with waffles.

"Who told you about this place?"
And then I told them Taeyong hyung and Meera noona's love story. "We really want to meet her!"

We finished our waffles and left the place. We were just roaming around the streets when Jeno stopped us.

"Isn't that Hae Ra noona?" He pointed inside a restaraunt. At first I didn't mind 'coz she had informed me that she was to meet Miyeon noona. But...

"Who is that guy?" Jaemin added. I stood next to them and saw Hae Ra with a guy with his back facing us. They were laughing as she playfully hit his arm.

Maybe thats Miyeon's boyfriend Seokjin hyung. But he has really broad shoulders so it can't be him. Suddenly the guy turned around to call someone. It was then I saw his face.

Jinyoung hyung.

Why did she lie to me then? I wouldn't have stopped her from meeting him knowing that they are 'just friends'.

Is she cheating on me? Or was I just a rebound for her?

I immediately went to my place, not caring about my friends who called for me. I slammed the door shut and lied on my bed.

MEERA'S POV 

"Is Taeil home?" I asked Mrs. Moon. She was talking to someone on phone. She nodded and pointed upstairs. I knocked on his door.

"Come in." I nervously entered his room. "Annyeong." I greeted him. He hastily and awkwardly stood up from his seat making a few papers fly away from the desk. He was probably working.

"I'll come later." I bowed and turned around to leave when he stopped me. "N-no no!" I looked at him and his red cheeks.

"Can I help you with something?" He asked.

"Actually I wanted to talk about yesterday." I looked at my feet. I'm so so stupid.

"I am really sorry. I didn't mean to actually kiss you. I was expecting you to push me back but you…"

I again looked at him and now not only his cheeks but the whole face was red.

"Gwenchana. To be honest that was my first kiss so I got carried away." He rubbed his nape.

"I don't know if it makes you feel better but that was my first kiss too." After listening to me he had a huge smile on his face. "Jinja?" I nodded and smiled back.

"So..is everything okay between us?" I asked him to clarify. He smiled and extended his arm for a handshake.

"Are you and Taeyong..."

"Yes. We're dating." For a split second his smile faded but then he smiled again.

"Chukahae."

HAE RA'S POV

"Thank you Jinyoung. I really had an amazing time."

He dropped me at my place. Apparantly Miyeon and Taeyong tried to set us up again. They planned our 'blind date' with me being the only one blind about this date.

Jinyoung felt so bad thinking that I didn't want to meet him thats why they had to lie.

I took the stairs to my room and saw Meera coming down. "Hey." We did a brofist. She taught me saying she used to do this with her dongsaeng.

"Did you meet oppa?"

"Yes and thankfully everything is cleared." She sighed in relief and hopped down the stairs.

"Meera wait." She turned around.

"Where's Mark?" She wiggled her eyebrows. "Aren't you guys meeting too much."

I hit her head. "Pabo. I want to ask about his internals." She cutely rubbed the spot where I hit.

"Well he came back an hour ago and slammed his door shut. I tried to talk to him but he didn't even open the door."

"And now?"

"It's still shut." I just nodded slowly. I texted Mark to meet me in the park. He replied with a simple 'hmm'.

Whats wrong with him?
