HAE RA'S POV

"Mark!"

I happily jumped on his back when I saw him in the park. He asked me to meet here all of a sudden. The thing is that both of us have been busy these days. His school exams and my college papers are lined up.

"Did you miss me?" I got off his back and smiled at him. But he didn't.

I watch him sit on one of the benches and pat the space next to him. I sat causally and looked at him to study his expression.

Is everything okay?

"How was it? Meeting Miyeon noona?" He then passed me a small smile.

Should I say the truth? Or should I lie?
I mean if I tell him that I was with Jinyoung then he would definitely be jealous and would feel insecure about me. And I don't want that.

"It was alright. We had fun actually." I laughed a little to convince him. He held me hand and gave it a light squeeze.

"I'm glad." He replied. His gaze fell onto my braclet which Jinyoung gave to me some time back. "Thats a nice braclet. When did you buy it?"

Whats with all the questions? I didn't mind much and replied casually.

"Oh this~ Ah Hyo got it for me. It was a long time back." I tried to keep it as realistic as possible.

I am sorry Mark. I don't want to lie. But if I don't, then you'll be more upset and would feel insecure.

I am really sorry.

His hold on my hand loosened. I watched his movements to get a clue of what might have happened.

He took a deep breath and turned to me.

"Do you want to break up?"

"What?! Of course not!" I panicked. How can he ask me such a thing?! I know that its not forbidden but…

"Are you lying for the third time today?" He chuckled bitterly.

"M-mark." He knew.

I called for him but he stood up and turned his back on me. I held his hand but he gently pushed my hand away. He still didn't face me.

"Don't get me wrong Hae Ra. I really love you. But I want you to be sure about your feelings. Take your time. I'm in no rush."

"And I know you love me. But your feelings for Jinyoung hyung are still there. I'll be by your side even if you choose him."

With that he left. He left. Without sparing me another glance.

JINYOUNG'S POV

That Yugyeom! He called me out to hang out but left me in the middle of our walk when Ah Hyo called him.

Nevermind. I'll call Hae Ra instead. She lives nearby.

"Is that Mark?"

I saw Baby Mark in the park. I was about to approach him when a girl jumped on his back.

"He's dating?" Wah~ Hae Ra would be so happy to know that her Baby Mark is dating someone. I was smiling to myself.

"Hae Ra?"

I froze when I saw her face. The girl who just jumped on his back.

I'm assuming too much. They are probably causally hanging out with each other. To be sure of myself I walked to the tree a little far away from them.

Their conversation wasn't clear but I could still understand everything.

"Do you want to break up?" I heard Mark. Seolma…  They're dating!  I mean were they dating?!

After Mark left, Hae Ra sat in the bench with her head in between her knees. She always does that when she's stressed.

I sat next to her. She immediately looked away upon seeing me.

"Annyeong." I waved my hand playfully.

I still like her. But that doesn't mean she didn't do anything wrong. I trusted her relationship with Taeyong. But when she told me that they kissed. I was more hurt than furious.

But when they both apologised specially Taeyong, I brushed it off like it didn't happen. We both were happy then.

But I just couldn't keep it in for a long time. Jaebum invited me to a party and I got drunk. All this resulted in me kissing some random girl.

We both held onto our egos. We both didn't want to step back.

But right now seeing her like this, I want to be with her. To comfort her.

"I'm not feeling good."

She snapped me out of the past and wiped her tears as quickly as possible.
"Do you want me to sing you a song? That always cheered you up."

She looked at me with her puffy eyes and nodded slowly.

"Annyeong naege dagawa~"

She loves this song. Beautiful by EXO's Baekhyun.

"Was it good?" I asked her after finishing the song.

"Good enough to melt my heart." She showed me two thumbs up with a reassuring smile.

"Lets walk a bit." I held her hand and interwined our fingers. Gladly she didn't protest. We both walked around the park. A silly smile on my face was plastered seeing our hands together. It was quite dark but we were comfortable.

"Actually…" I started off.

"Hmm?"

"I overheard your conversation with Mark." This thing has been bugging me from the start. She halted her steps and looked the other way.

"I know I'm pathetic." I went up to her and gently cupped her cheeks. Then I wiped her tears with my thumbs.

"You're not pathetic. You are a great girl who will do wonders in future." She smiled at my words and playfuly hit my chest.

"Since when did you become so cheezy?"

"I don't remember actually. Help me~" I did aegyo at the end.

"Hajima~~" she whined and ran away from me.

"Yah! Wait for me!"

MARK'S POV 

I was busy arranging my room when I unconsciously went to my window. I saw Hae Ra and Jinyoung hyung at her doorstep.

Did I do right? Will I regret my decision?

I hope not.

She needed time to figure out her emotions. I don't want to get hurt later on.

"Mark?" Meera noona entered my room. I quickly backed away from the window.

"Ne noona?"

"Dinner's ready! Pallinawa!" She then rushed down the stairs.
