"We're back!" Hyuk yelled.
Tsana jumped from my lap and darted down the stairs before I had time to react.
"Guess she's hungrier than you." N commented.
" I guess she is," was all I said.
We walked down to the pillars we had camped on the night before. Hyuk and Ravi stood next to a group of bags that held a range of foods and drinks. Oh thank the heavens! Tsana dove into a bag that held some of the delicacy meat: she was the epitome of how I felt.
I picked through the bags, looking through what they managed to get. There was mostly foods that could be used without having to cook such as chips, meats, breads, cheeses and more.
"How did you guys manage to buy all of th-"
Hyuk and Ravi had awkward expressions on their faces and they tensed up when I looked at them. What caught my eye was that Ravi stood with his wings wide open as if he were hiding something. I gave him a wierd look.
"Ravi why are you acting like that?"
Hyuk stood as a barrier between me and Ravi, holding his hands up to give distance; what made things awkward was that his hands were rested on my boobs. Hyuk had a horrified look on his face when he realized, he stood there like petrified wood: stiff and still.
"Having fun there Willis?" I remarked.
Out of impulse, N smacked Hyuk's arms off of me and gave him a rude look. He was literally my own personal bodyguard warning him to back off.
" I- I didn't mean to!"
"Don't touch her again," N said in a deep voice. " Move."
Hyuk hustled over like a scared puppy with it's tail between it's legs. Ravi was more resistant towards N. The difference in body size was prominent since Ravi was physically larger than N but N held a greater presence making the show down much more nerve-racking.
"What are you hiding?"
"Nothing," Ravi said.
"Move," N tried pushing Ravi's wings away but he gave a push back. " Pull your wings down or I swear I'll rip them off of your back."
"Go ahead and try big boy." Ravi laughed.
I scooted closer to take a look. A head of dark hair peaked above Ravi's wing but dipped put of sight. I wanted to look over again but I was too short! His wings extended past the width of the beams we stood on, so my last resort was to crawl under. I got down on my knees and carefully crawled ahead while the two were distracted. Hyuk caught on and tried to pull me back but I pushed through the other side before he was able to lay a finger on me.
"Shit." He said.
I smiled with victory and picked myself up to dust off the dirt. My head hit under something and there was a yelp of pain. I rubbed my head to try and massage the pain away.
"Watch where you're going you son of a bitch!" I scolded myself.
A menacing growl rumbled over me in response. Shit it's a wolf! I thought.
I looked up to see fangs and a pair of glaring red eyes: two evil things that didn't pair well with the beautiful male face that stood there."Woah," I said awe. I froze, mesmerized by the beauty the man held; his face was wide but fell thin at the bottom like a teardrop; his nose and jawline were sharp and masculine but still had a gentle touch; his lips were a deep red which highlighted the white canines he possessed that inched closer. There was a distinct smell he gave off that was bittersweet like cologne-which is pretty hard to get nowadays considering our country's lack of resources. His smell was attractive, and I felt myself leaning closer.
