I pass Max, knowing that she can handle herself, but I need to get to the fight. As soon as I make it there, I leap up onto a soldier, tearing his head from his throat as his body hit the floor.

I bound through the battlefield, dodging bullets and my own warriors as they engage in their own fights. I rip into soldiers as I go along, but can't figure out how to get to the ones in the trees without shifting. If I shifted into my human form, I would be more open to attack.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see max ripping into soldier after soldier as more filter in through the trees dressed in all black. Did they really think the black would help them blend in better/ it wasn't even night time.

I jumped up onto another man, ripping his throat out, but something sharp pierces my side, making me let out a yelp as I fall to my side. I look back at my body and see a large hook in me, but it also looks like a shot, and now it's empty of all substances.

I can feel the liquid shot into me, spreading throughout my body, burning me from the inside. I whimper and thrash around, but can't get myself to stand up. I look around and find some of my warriors in the same mess, while others are fighting. Many of them are lying lifelessly on the ground, their wolf eyes wide open.

A few of the wolves are being dragged through the forest, wrapped in thick nets. The sight makes me angry all over again and a large growl rips through my throat, making nearby men wary of me, but they still approach.

A few of them stop in front of me and look down at my still wolf form as I growl and snarl up at them. A few of them let out small chuckles, while one of them grabs his walkie.

"Sir, I think we have the alpha, should we take him also. We got the bear, the female alpha, and a few of their warriors,' he says into the walkie.

"No, let him deal with the knowledge that he failed," was the reply.

I growled at the voice, but internally I was whimpering, knowing that it was correct. I did fail. I failed Max. I failed Bo. I failed my own pack, and the others.

"Yes, sir," he says, before clicking off his walkie.

He turns his attention back down to me with a sneer. His boots lashes out and kicks my side. The other's follow his lead, kicking me everywhere. Whimpers mixed with snarls escape my lips, as they continue to beat me.

A vicious growl rips through the air, halting the men's assault. They turn around just as a massive blur of black rips them to shreds. A huge black bear stands in front of me, blood dripping from his jaws. If I could move, I would be backing away from the vicious animal, but I was paralyzed.

It shifts, revealing Tommy. He kneels down in front of me, running his hands over my nay injured, before gripping the large hook/syringe and yanking it out. I let out a yelp, but then keep my whimpers to myself.

"Where's Bo?" he asks, sounding panicked.

I stare at him, hoping he will get the message that she was taken. He does and a strangled sob escaped his lips as he sits back on his heels, staring off into space.

"And Max?' he asks, still not looking down at me.

With that reminder, I close my eyes and let out a small whimper. Tommy's breathing turns even more ragged, but after a few minutes, he composes himself and shifts back into his bear.

His head nudges my side and slides underneath me, lifting me up onto his back. I lie limply, forced to look at the horrors that occurred here. My warriors and the others lie lifelessly on the cold earth, their blood everywhere.

Soldier's limbs and mangled bodies litter the ground, creating an even worse scenery. A few warriors are limping through the filed, looking for their fallen pack mates, while other's help the wounded.

I close my eyes, not able to look at my failure anymore, letting tommy take me back to the pack hospital.

I failed all of them. I needed to make this right and find their base. I needed to get Max back, and Bo, and the rest of them.

I would get them all back, even if it's the last thing I do.

I'm coming for you Max!
