The boy underneath me squirmed in discomfort, his shouting muffled by my hand as I sunk my teeth into the flesh of his neck.
The moment the warm liquid touched my tongue I was in heaven. The sweet flavor caused my whole being to go into a complete frenzy.
I used my free hand to grip his sweatshirt and pull him closer to me as I sucked away at him.
The need for more and more was overpowering and soon enough I was unaware of everything around me, slowly morphing into an animalistic beast.
I moaned in pleasure, oblivious to notice that the boy below me was now unconcious.
With a couple more powerful sucks, the boy was drained dry.
I pulled back, panting like I had just finished a marathon. Never thought feeding could take so much energy.
I pushed the pale body away from me and slouched against the concrete wall of the alleyway.
That definitely made me feel better. I had gone all day without eating and it had been quite the task to sit still in all my classes without jumping on some innocent person who smelled delicious.
I wiped the corners of my mouth with my fingers, eyeing the crimson that now soaked my fingertips.
I licked them clean before pushing myself up, a new found energy running through me.
With one last glance at the boy I walked away into the dark, finding my way back to my dorm.
On the way back I walked passed all of the fraternity and sorority houses, noticing the different types of people that resided in each. Through the windows I was able to see a house with preppy blondes and brunettes, faces covered in some sort of green skin remedy. The next house was filled with girls dressed in sweatpants and nike tank tops, their tv screening a football game that was happening right now. Across the street I could see inside a white house, where some boys sat on their couch with tired expressions. The soccer uniforms they all wore made it obvious that it was the jocks fraternity.
I sighed, bringing my vision down to the pavement as i continued to stride along.
Suddenly, like a slap in the face, a strong stench began to surround me. My lungs burned at the disgusting smell I could recognize from anywhere; tobacco.
I quickly looked up, trying to locate where the burning smell of tobacco was coming from.
My eyes widened at the sight of the mathlete from my class smoking a cigarette. To say I was a bit shocked was an understatement. His whole innocent and shy auroa made it hard to believe that he could bring such a deadly object to his lips.
I walked closer to him as he sat on the stairs of a fraternity. A fraternity that most likely housed the most intelligent and knowledgeable boys here.
My steps weren't exactly silent, but because he had hearing of a human, I knew he wouldn't be able to hear me coming forward.
"Smoking is an unhealthy habit you know." I stated smoothly, watching as he jumped a foot in the air from surprise. The white stick between his long fingers fell to the ground, a small bang rounding my eardrums as it made contact with the sidewalk.
"Jesus!" he hollered with wide eyes as he held a hand to his chest.
I shoved my hands into my pockets, standing casually in front of him.
His cheeks flushed a dark red as he scrambled up into a standing position. His heart was pounding quickly, his hands seeming to shake slightly. With a trembling hand he nervously pushed his glasses up further with his pointer finger.
He cleared his throat before speaking hoarsely.
"I know it is."
I raised an eyebrow, "Yet you continue to do it?" It always confused me; why humans do things to their bodies knowing that they are harming themselves. I just didn't understand. Wouldn't one want to protect and keep their body as healthy as possible?
He cleared his throat again and looked at the ground, "It's addicting,"
I inhaled, cringing a bit when the scent of the dying cigarette hit me.
"Are you addicted to dying?" I questioned, staring at him intensly.
He must have felt my stare because he continued to shy away and stare at the ground.
I noticed him tense up at my words, his heart beginning to pick up pace again as he grew nervous.
"It's not that easy to quit..." he trailed, lifting his brown eyes up to look at me.
He looked the same as he did the other day; big glasses, hair styled neatly, dressy clothes that could pass off as preppy.
"I never thought you'd be one to smoke," I commented as I crossed my arms in front of me and examined him.
His eyes flashed in offense at the comment, but I didn't care I was simply stating the truth.
"I never thought you'd be one to judge," he bit back, making me blink in surprise.
I clenched my jaw, feeling my temper flare at the small jab.
"Goodbye," I snapped, before turning on my heel and walking away from him.
That kid doesn't know how easily I could wreck him. With little energy I can snap his neck and rip him limb by limb.
Taking a few deep breaths, I calmed myself down. My anger was something that was so easily provoked that sometimes it was a hassel. It made my life difficult to be honest. It made me have to work on my self control which I despised doing.
I could hear Zayn sigh heavily from behind me even though I was now quite far from him. I took one glance over my shoulder and saw him staring at me, but the moment we made eye contact he quickly looked away.
(A/N) Feedback would be great! :)
