I stood from my seat, gripping my notebook and phone in my hand. I jogged down, trying to get to the door before everybody else. Unfortunately these humans were faster than I thought and I ended up getting stuck behind the crowd. I struggled to stop myself from ramming through.

"Woops sorry!" someone yelped as they collided with my side.

The force did not effect me, my body unmoving.

By the scent and sound of his voice I knew who it was without even having to look.

"It's fine." I muttered, quickly glancing over my shoulder at him as he recovered.

I continued walking forward, wanting to feed since I hadn't since last night.

"Hey about the other day-"

Before he could finish I effectively cut him off. In no way was I going to discuss that necklace with him. It was a valuable item of mine, something very dear to me. It was absolutely none of his business so he had better back off before I hurt him.

"It was nothing. I was fine, trust me." I said loudly, ignoring the fact that this kid was actually wondering if I was alright.

We were now outside the building, walking along the sidewalk where many other students made their way to class.

"Oh...right...sorry." he mumbled awkwardly, pushing his glasses up with his pointer finger.

I now noticed that he was actually quite tall, standing a full head taller than me. Not only that, but his body was actually very lanky and narrow.

I stayed quiet, hoping he'd get the hint and go away now.

"So...uh have you been studying for our upcoming exam?" he questioned hesitantly.

I exhaled through my nose, "No I haven't." I snapped.

In the corner of my eye I saw him flinch.

"Oh...well you probably don't need to anyways. You're the smartest in our class I believe." he muttered quietly, his heart pounding furiously in his chest.

I inhaled, clenching my jaw as I caught scent of his blood.

If he calmed down I wouldn't be able to smell the blood under his skin so easily.

He was making it very hard for me right now and he didn't even know it.

I stayed silent, continuing to walk.

"Uh, so I heard that you met Jane." he spoke again, realizing I wasn't going to respond.

I glanced at him, noticing that not only was his heart accelerating even more but his cheeks were darkening .

"Yeah, yesterday in the library."

He nodded, eyes on the ground as he thought about something.

"Is there a reason you're still walking with me?" I asked bluntly, halting and turning towards him.

He stopped too, nearly tripping since it was so sudden.

I bit my lip trying not to laugh at him.

He ran a hand through his hair, his cheeks turning an even darker shade of red.

"My next class is in this direction." He responded quietly.

I couldn't help but feel a bit stupid now.

"Oh..."

He let out a soft chuckle, the noise surprising me.

"Yeah,"

I looked away from him, catching sight of a group of laughing girls. Immediately I noticed what had them dying of laughter; a tan, muscular figure who stood with a cocky grin on his face, clearly loving the attention. Louis Tomlinson.

"God he thinks he's such hot shit." Zayn muttered in irritation.

"Is someone jealous?" I smirked looking away from Louis and back towards Zayn.

Zayn looked back at me, frowning.

"As if. He's an incompetent fool. He only got in because of his soccer skills. It blows my mind how he got a full scholarship for playing a sport while I got shit for being an A student my whole life." He ranted, looking away from me once he finished.

"You sound jealous." I stated with a raised eyebrow, watching carefully as his eyes finally met mine again.

He scoffed, his eyes flicking away again and moving towards Louis.

"I'm not. He's an ass." he mumbled, shoving his hands into his pockets.

I hummed, purposley making it obvious that I didn't believe him.

"Bye Zayn." I said once he didn't respond.

He looked at me again, pushing his glasses up as I began to walk away.

He whispered a farewell to me, expecting me not to hear it, just like the first time I met him.
