Chapter 7

Louis' POV

"Oof," I grunted as something heavy landed on top of me.

I opened my eyes to see an out of breath Harry slowly rolling himself off me.

"What was that for Harry?" I asked him. That hurt and I was still sleeping.

"I have something important to tell you," He panted.

"What? And why are you breathing so heavily?" I asked.

He sounded like he had just run a marathon.

"I just got away from Niall he-"

"Harry?" Niall opened my bedroom door.

He looked straight at Harry.

"Get out of my room." I hissed as Harry eyed Niall cautiously.

"I just wanted to see where Harry went," He shrugged.

"What did you do to him?" Something about him had obviously scared Harry.

"Nothing," He said as he looked to Harry.

"Harry?" I asked as I averted my gaze towards him.

"I- I just.... I don't know what to do!" He cried as he got off my bed.

He shoved passed Niall and I heard a door slam shortly after he left.

Niall was looking at the floor. I sat up.

"Why are you here?" I nearly screamed at Niall.

"I said I was looking for Harry," Niall growled as he bright blue eyes stared right into mine. He wasn't this hostile when Harry was here.

"No, why are you in our apartment?! Why did you pick Harry? Get out of our apartment!" I yelled at him.

His eyes turned softer as he looked back to the floor. I saw him shake his head no.

"I can't," He whispered so quietly, it took me a moment to realize he had even said anything.

"Just get out of my room," I groaned as I flopped back onto my bed, closing my eyes.

I heard footsteps make their way out of my room.

Harry's POV

I was in tears as I ran to my room. I slammed my door shut behind me.

I didn't know what to do back there. I probably confused Louis and made Niall angry.

I was so close to telling Louis what Niall was. So close.

I don't know how much trouble I would get into if I actually told Louis about Niall. They could kill me.

I was really confused how Niall could hide all his cat parts so quickly. I couldn't see any of them when he came into Louis room.

I wiped the last of my tears as I checked my clock for the time. It was nearly noon! I was supposed to be at work right now!

I jumped out of my bed and ran to the closet to find some clothes, forgetting about my current problems.

I threw on a black shirt and black jeans. I shoved my shoes on as I grabbed my phone and wallet.

I ran out the door. I shivered as the cold air hit my bare skin.

I forgot my jacket. Great.

I continued to run to the bakery.

When the bakery was in sight I slowed down. As much as going to work didn't sound fun right now it was still better than being in the house with Niall and Zayn.

As much as Niall scared me, I couldn't help but to feel bad for him. He didn't ask to be a hybrid. He didn't kill my parents either.

I remember the two that did and although the male did resemble Niall in some ways, it wasn't him.

I opened the door as quietly as I could trying not to attract attention to myself.

"Harry!" I cringed as I heard my supervisor, Ms.Brown, yell at me.

She was mostly here just to make sure we showed up and did our work. By we I mean myself and one other guy, Will.

"Why are you late?" She asked me.

I walked to the counter and pulled out my apron.

"Alarm didn't work this morning. I'm sorry," I lied.

"Alright Harry just don't do it again." I saw her office door open as she poked her head out.

She was smiling. She is usually pretty laid back.

"Where is Will?" She asked.

"Must not be coming in today," I shrugged.

"Alright," She went back in her office.

It didn't look like we had any customers yet today.

I sighed as I walked into the kitchen.

As I was preparing dough for bread I heard the door to the shop open. I put on a smile as I walked to the front counter.

My smile disappeared as I saw who had walked in.

"Harry!" Niall shouted. Oh no.
