Louis's POV

"Ughh," I groaned as I sat up.

My neck ached, probably because I slept on the couch with it bent at an odd angle. I got up and stretched to try and work out the kinks in my spine.

I glanced at the clock and saw it was nearly 11.

"Good morning."

I nearly fell over in surprise when Liam spoke. I turned towards where I heard his voice from, and saw him leaning against the wall near the kitchen. He was trying to hide the his laughter, that I probably had caused.

"Good morning you twit," I hissed at him.

He broke into a grin before disappearing into the kitchen. He came back seconds later with a plate of eggs in his hands.

I melted at the scent. I guess I didn't realize I was hungry.

"Would a twit have made you breakfast?" he asked.

I held my hands out for the plate, giving him puppy dog eyes so that maybe he would just give it to me with no strings attached.

Of course he wouldn't though.

"Ah ah ah. I don't think so Louis. I'm just a twit so you wouldn't want the eggs I made would you?"

"Come on Liam!" I groaned.

"First you have to tell me why I am not a twit, and how wonderful I am for making these eggs for you," he grinned as he held the eggs teasingly in front of my face.

I groaned again before sighing. Silly me for thinking I could just have something free of charge for once.

Might as well just get this over with.

"You are not a twit Liam, because you made me eggs. You're a wonderful friend for making them and..uh..I love you?" I kinda ran out of things to say. He did make me come up with it on the spot so it's his fault it sucked.

"Wasn't the best compliment I've ever gotten but I suppose you can have your eggs now."

He handed me the eggs, which I greedily snatched away. I took the plate and ran to my room because I didn't want anyone to take them. I shut the door behind me and sat on my bed.

As I was eating I thought, 'Who would take your eggs? Like why did you run?'

I couldn't answer that one so I moved on.

Then I thought, 'Where is Harry?'

He's at work.

Oh yeah, I forgot it's Monday.

'Why don't you have a job?'

'Cause you're a lazy idiot.

'Why am I so lazy?'

The world may never know.

I finished my eggs, and left my room.

Walking into the kitchen, I saw Liam reading a newspaper at the kitchen table.

I put my dishes in the sink so I could clean them later.

I thought about bugging Liam but decided against it. He would probably force me to compliment him again.

I skipped to the couch and jumped. I missed the couch by a foot and landed hard, on the floor.

Ouch.

"Louis are you ok?" Liam asked through stifled giggles. As much as I'd like to believe he came running into the living room concerned for my wellbeing rather than to laugh at my misfortune, I don't think he did.
