SHE QUIT THE DANCE club sometime within the week – she wasn't quite sure what day, exactly, for since the day her doctor told her that her legs would never function the same way again, she'd lost all perception of day and time.
She did quit the dance club, but sometimes, out of nostalgia and bittersweet longing, she'd bring herself to the clubroom and watch her ex-teammates twirl and dance. Sometimes, she'd hear them talking excitedly about summer dance workshops and scholarships to schools of performing arts and eventually joining entertainments of their own – and she'd take that as her cue to leave, because she couldn't bear it any longer.
Because she used to be one of those dreamers, one of those passionate dancers who reached for the stars.
And now, she was nothing.
Those nights, she'd lift herself off her wheelchair and onto the bed and cry, for she knew, she knew that no matter what she'd do, Park Eun Ha would never, ever, become an idol.
No, not anymore.
