(Kenneth' POV) {Kisses' Dad if you forgot or didn't know}

I sat on the couch, coffee on one hand. The raindrops were hitting on the window. It's raining hard... Wonder where's Kisses. She said she'll be out for awhile with HIM but it's getting late.. Juliet would have said to just relax, she's already a big girl and her ship might be sailing, even though in reality she would be 10x more worried than me. She's fond of not showing others her weakness, even her loved ones... I sighed. I miss her so much.. I wish that stupid b**** never existed! Then Juliet wouldn't have... left us.... I felt tears forming in my eyes. No, I have to be strong for Kisses, my baby girl...

Then I heard the door unlock, and a familiar head looked around her to check if there was anyone there, presumably me or Juliet. Then Kisses went in. I took a good look at her. She was soaking wet, her brown hair flat and filled with droplets. But what I really noticed was her face. Her eyes were puffy and bloodshot red, like she was crying. Her nose was red and her expression was a mix of sadness and anger. Does she know?

She was about to go up the stairs but then I spoke. "Are you okay? Why are your eyes and nose red? Why are you soaking wet? Shouldn't have a Hunter have did something for you like give an umbrella or bring you home or something?" I bombarded her with questions as I sipped on my coffee. Ugh it got cold. I placed the mug on the coffee table. She stiffened an turned to face me. She smiled, but something about it was strange. It was like it was forced. If HE hurt her, I WILL DESTROY-.

"I'm fine. I must've just got sick from the rain. I ran through the rain 'cause I thought it would be fun. He said he couldn't make it so I hanged out at Catpuccino and again, I thought it would be fun to run in the rain so I didn't get a taxi or bus." she replied. I stood up and walked towards her. Then I placed my hand on her forehead and on the sides of her neck. "You not that-" I said but she cut me off. "I'll just stay in my room and rest. I'll also make myself hot chocolate and cook a pack of instant noodles. You go do whatever you were doing before I came." she said. Before I could say anything, she went to the kitchen.

Ugh, I have to tell her about Juliet, don't I? I mean I need to tell her. She has the right to know... Then I heard something break. "S***!" she cursed. "What happened?!" I asked as I rushed towards her. "Sorry Dad, I broke a plate..." she apologized. I looked at her and then at the shards of the plates. It wasn't expensive or had any sentimental value but why is she suddenly so aloof? Well, more than usual.

"Don't worry, I'll clean it for you. Sorry a-" she was about to apologized again but I cut her off. "You might get cut while doing that. I'll do instead. You said you wanted to rest so just do that. Besides, you didn't change yet and you're still dripping." I insisted. She scratched the back of her neck and after a few moments, she nodded. Then she went upstairs.

Once I was done throwing the shards away, and putting some bandages to my fingers, I went upstairs to check on Kisses. I was about to open the door when I hear sobbing. What's going on? Then I heard Kisses' muffled voice but it still was clear enough to be understood. "Why *sob* am I *sob* so weak? What *sob* is wrong *sob* with me?" she asked to herself. She's not weak and there's nothing wrong with her. What is she talking about?

"Stupid me! Why did you have to like Hunter? Now look! He shattered your heart!" she scolded herself. I KNEW HE HURT HER! WHY ONCE I GET MY HANDS ON HIM HE'LL WISH HE NEVER WAS BORN! {Hey chill, will ya! You still have a crying daughter to comfort!} Right... my daughter is first priority. I took a deep breathe I opened the door slightly. It seems that she didn't notice me.

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked her as I leaned against the doorframe. She turned to my direction and her eyes widened. She wiped her tears and looked at me with her dull green eyes. "How long were you there?" she asked with a weak voice. "Since you asked yourself why were you so weak. Now let me ask again, do you want to talk about it?" I asked again. She didn't reply immediately. Then after a few minutes she replied. "Sure..."

She told me everything. From that a******'s intentions to what happened in front of that cat café. She even showed me the video that this unknown guy send her. "What you did was wrong. You shouldn't talk to strangers and you shouldn't have confessed your feeling to that piece of-" I was about to continue but Kisses gave a death stare. Like she was saying 'No swearing!' Even though she also swears... "Crap. But I know you didn't mean to tell him and at least by talking to this ???, you learned to true colors of... HIM." I said as I hugged her.

"Dad?" she called. "Hmm?" I asked. "Where's Mom?" she asked. I broke the hug and looked at her. Her eyes have so much pain... but it seems like there's a glint of hope. Maybe she's thinking that her mom will come and say that everything will be okay... I need to tell her the news and my plan NOW... even though it will break her even more... It's now or never. Besides, I can't lie about something so important. I sighed. "Kisses, baby, um your mom isn't..." I blinked back the tears. "With us anymore..." I said softly. Her eyes widened. "WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED?!?" she exclaimed as her tears started to run again. "Car crash by drunk driver. Aria's mom. I'm planning on taking you with me back to France." I explained briefly. Her eyes widen even more. "W-WHAT?! No, no, no. She can't be dead. THIS IS JUST ANOTHER SICK PRANK! I WON'T BELIEVE IT! AND YOU HAVE NO REASON TO BRING ME WITH YOU!" she shouted as she stood up and ran away. "KISSES, WAIT!" I exclaimed as I followed her. The front door was wide open. "KISSES CLARITY REED OAKHEART!" I shouted her name as I went outside. I saw her hop into a taxi and it started to go. "KISSES!" I exclaimed. It drove faster. I ran after it but it was too fast. Wherever she is going to, I hope she'll be safe.

Hey tem flakes! Sorry, I'm not really good at the adults' POV. Now that Kisses knows what happened to her mom, how broken is she and where is she going? Find that out in the last 5 chapters! That you so much for the 600+ reads! I feel like I'm on Cloud 9! Sorry if these latest or all these chapters have been going too fast, this is the first book to ever publish in Wattpad.
