Chapter 7: Out Of My League

Honestly, I don't know why this song came into my head whilst writing this song. The reason why I switched the songs was cause it just didn't fit into the chapter. Also this is also a filler but it is kinda important. Play the song if you want. And imagine this chapter happened the same day as Chapter 6: Everytime We Touch but after. Now on with the story!!!

(Andrew's POV)
I was at the mall. I needed to get a decent thing to wear for what I'm planning at the park. She didn't send me a letter or anything but I'm sure she's just busy with Catpuccino. Ya...

I went to the clothes shop Mom and Dad suggested. I think it was called 'Closet Trends'. They said it had all kinds of styles so ya... I started to look around, then I kinda got lost. Well f***. I checked what section I was standing on . I was at the formal section. Well that's a convenience. I started to check for the perfect clothes to wear. Then I bumped into someone and we both fell.

"Sorry..." I apologized. "Drew?" That voice was familiar. "Skye?" I asked, looking up. Yup, it was Kisses.

"What are you doing here and stop calling me that" she growled. "Finding some formal clothes to wear" I said. "Me too! Can you help me choose" she exclaimed. "Sure" I replied. "Great!" she exclaimed once more as she dragged me to the teens' area.

When we were there, she literally stopped at her tracks. "What's wrong" I asked. "Go to the dressing room and close your eyes. I want to make this a surprise" she ordered. I curtly nodded and did as I was told.

What can I do for Mystery? I need to make this special. I want her to forget the world for a bit. Maybe I can make some kind of secret area and have some dinner. But I need permission from the park owner to do such. Ill figure something out and make the calls later. I just need to write this down. turned around, facing the wall and brought out my phone and pressed the notes app.

After I was done typing, Kisses called out to me. "So what do you think" she asked. She was wearing a long sleeveless mint dress with a matching ribbon-like belt and some mint heels. "Its nice but what event your going to" I assumed. "Uh.. A ball" she replied. "Let me see the others then I'll pick" I said. She nodded and went back.

A ball? With that b**** she calls 'Crush'? What am I feeling? {Jealousy, bruh} I like Mystery now right? I'm an idiot, aren't I? I didnt even get to know her then I assume I like her. I want to get to know her. To at least see if all this effort is really worth it.

"Is this one good?" Kisses asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. This time she was wearing a long mint gown with silver gemstones on the top and some silver pumps. I hope those are fake.

"Better. Now can you help me with my clothes" I asked. "Of course now come on" Kisses replied, again dragging me to another part of the teen's area as I dragged the cart of clothes with me.

Me being the better friend and having no fashion sense, I let Kisses pick the 'perfect clothes to wear'. After awhile...

"OHMYGOSHTHISISPERFECT" she exclaimed, holding the clothes. "YOUHAVETOTRYTHISON" she ordered. She sounds like my mom. Everyone was staring at us. F***

She shoved me to the dressing room. I locked it and I quickly changed. Now I had time to have a good look on it. It was a black jacket with some fluff on top, a white shirt, a pair of black jeans, and a pair of white sneakers. How did she get shoes on a short notice?

I shrugged it off and went out to Kisses. "How does it look" I asked. She looked over to me, then her eyes widen and she jumped to my arms. "I knew it would be perfect but it looks amazingly better on you" She exclaimed.

I was still carrying her when a boy and girl about 16-18 looked at us weirdly. "Puppy love~" the boy swooned. "JAKE!" the girl exclaimed. "Shush! When do you two plan on getting married?~" the boy probably Jake asked. Kisses and I blushed slightly. "Sorry to bother you. We'll be off now" the girl said, dragging Jake along with her.

"Kisses Clarity Oakheart! Stop confusing me and pick! I want to know my son-in-law now!" Mrs. Juliet whined. Kisses' blushed instantly became darker. "Changing the subject have you got our masks. We're done shopping" she replied. "There here but you better tell me once we're home" Mrs. Juliet ordered as she showed 2 masks.

On her left was a small green mask with black lace around it while on the right was a bigger black mask with green around the eye holes. While I was looking at the masks, Kisses took the left mask when I spotted something different about her hand. A ring?! Is it from the 'crush'? There were green things on it and it shined at light.

"Andrew!? Are you okay? You were looking at the air for a while there" Mrs. Juliet noted. "Sorry. Just was thinking. Let's just pay okay" I changed the subject. Mrs. Juliet nodded and walked to the cashier as Kisses followed behind but she gave a concerned look before continuing.

I'm kinda lazy to tell you the rest since its just paying and I don't want the Author to do a time skip {Aww! Lazy but caring.} so basically Mrs. Juliet and I had a fight on who will pay but in the end she won from making sad puppy eyes. We left our different ways and I walked back home.

I checked on the mailbox and to no one's surprise besides me, there was a mail from Mystery. It didn't have the proper letter format but it was still perfect.

Hey DP, I want to say yes to your offer going to V park and name your cat, Quinzel. I just remembered a movie me and my friend watched. I think it was called 'Suicide Squad' and there was a character that was actually a doctor before I think but now she became insane. If you don't like the name, you can change it to Katana if you want, that was the character with a sharp sword called katana and you get the point. Please pick me up! See ya! -Mystery

I literally jumped for joy with my bag and ran inside. I need to make those calls!
