Chapter 28

It's been a few days since Anthony and Stephanie had the discussion with Ana. And my, was it a stressful few days for Anthony.

He didn't bother mentioning the dilemma to Jasmine, he didn't want her to worry. But then again he's worried about her. What Ana might do to her.

But he tried his best to set it aside. Especially today that he and Jas had set plans for them. Just the two of them.

Ant lies awake beside his wife, the crack of dawn in the midst as his eyes were glued to the ceiling. Thoughts running through his head.

He decided to get up - for once - and make breakfast himself. He barely did so, and also to let his mind go off of it.

"Well you're up early." Jasmine giggled, startling him as he prepared the food he was about to cook

"Good morning." He tried to smile as he placed a soft kiss on her lips

"Are you okay, Anthony?" She asked as they pulled apart

"Why would I not be?" He questioned, starting up the stove

"You've been pretty quiet, and distant." Jas replied, biting her lower lip, a little nervous "Is everything alright? Have I done something?"

Anthony shook his head assuringly "No no, it's not you." He exclaimed, then sighed. He figured this was really inevitable, which led him to give in "Look Jas, there's something I haven't told you."

"What is it?" She asked, taking over the cooking

"The other day, Ana went here." He mumbled slowly and quietly, but loud enough for Jas to hear

"Where did she say she went? What did she want?" She questioned

"She went off on a job proposal." He scratched the back of his neck nervously "She wanted Aiden back and I-"

"Anthony I swear if you agreed to give him back I'll-" She cut him off midsentence, but was cut off back

"I said no." He stated "And I will never let her." He looked at her sternly
"I know you're worried and thinking of a lot of things." Jas smiled at him, cupping his face as she sighed "But know that I'll be here as you face any problem. I'm your wife."

"Thank you, Jas." He pulled her in to a hug "Thank you as well for accepting Aiden."

"Hey, I love the kid as my own." She assured him "He's a lot like you. And I love you, both of you, all of you, my 4 boys." She giggled "But set that all aside for now, we're going off remember?"

He gave her a quick kiss before they continued on to prepare their breakfast. Jas finished up cooking while Anthony checked in on the boys, mostly if the twins needed anything.

"Good morning mama." Aiden greeted groggily as he entered the kitchen

"Good morning Aiden." She greeted back, kissing his cheek as he sat on one of the chairs "Eat up, we're off to grandpa and grandma." She smiled as he handed him a plate of pancakes

"Are the twins and I going to stay at pop pop and nana's today?" Aiden perked up

"Yes, so better be quick." Jas nodded, placing plates for her and Anthony, as well as getting the high chairs ready "Anthony, breakfast is ready!" She called out

"Coming!" He called back, carrying the twins out of the room

"Good morning my babies." Jas gushed, helping Anthony place the two in their high chairs "Are their sruff packed?"

"Yeah, all the baby stuff in the baby bags, and all the Aiden stuff in the Aiden bag." He sighed, stretching before he sat down by his usual seat "Remember to be good at your pop pop and nana's house, okay Aiden? Look after your brothers."

"Yes daddy." Aiden nodded, proceeding to devour the plate of pancakes "But where are you and mama going? And why can't we come?"

"Its about work, you know, boring adult stuff." Anthony pretended to groan in hindrance, Jas trying to hold back her giggles "You don't want that right?"

"No way." Aiden shook his head, his mouth full of pancakes

"Thought so." Anthony chuckled, beginning to eat, whilst feeding Jordan

"Mom, pops, thanks for agreeing to take care of the boys while Ant and I are gone." Jasmine gave her parents a hug

"Of course dear, it would be fun to have these little ones around." Kim smiled "Brighten up the house a bit."

"And we'll of course do anything so that you two won't wore yourselves out." Ron nodded

"And when was the last you two even had quality time?" Kim smirked, which made the two blush ever so slightly "Okay, now you two run along, don't wanna miss any flight I assume." She proceeded to giggle

"Yeah, thanks mom." Jas sighed, kissed her mother goodbye then her father "Bye pops."

"Thank you Mrs. Mom, Mr. Pops." Anthony smiled, hugging his in-laws "Call us if the boys are any trouble."

"Don't be silly, I'd love the trouble." Ron chuckled, Kim rolling her eyes at her husband

"Easy for you to say." Kim sighed

Anthony and Jasmine went to the car and started to drive off to the airport, the ride a little silent. And not too long later they arrive.

"We're a tad bit early." Jas reminded, as Anthony pulled up at a parking space

"3 hours, yeah." Anthony nodded "Let's go grab some lunch then." He suggested, she smiled in agreement

They went across the street of the airport to a diner, that frankly Anthony used to go to often. Making him know most of the people.

As they entered, a few people recognized them, and started to greet them. A lot of teens started to swoon over Anthony, which made Jas roll her eyes but in a playful manner.

"Yo Anthony, Jas." Yelled someone from one of the booths, they looked around to see Daveed waving at them, as well as gesturing to come over

"Hey Daveed." Jas smiled, as she and Ant sat opposite him "What's up?"

"Oh just grabbin some lunch." Daveed responded "What are you two up to? Where are them boys?" He chuckled a bit

"We're going off on a vacation." Anthony said, making Daveed look a little surprised

"Oh really? Where to?" Daveed asked curiously

"Well its not really much of a vacation, we're attending a friend's wedding in the Philippines, and probably gonna stay at the country for a while." Anthony explained as he looked through the menu

"Karla gushes about the beaches and places there all the time, so I bet you guys will be having a great time." Daveed said, placing his menu aside

"I'm just glad I can get alone time with this one." Anthony stretched and placed his arm on Jas "Am I right, hun?"
