Chapter 2

~ Just gonna say this here rn. If you're a new reader of mine, hello dearie 😊. I'm not American, I am full on Asian (or Pacific Islander bc some people can't seem to make up their minds 😒😂), so if some stuff here about places in America are wrong or something of the sort, please bear with me ☺ I only have little knowledge on what really goes on in America besides what news that come out internationally, all I know is a few history topics for we study world history at school. Anyway that's all I wanted to clarify, enjoy! 😁 ~

It was already about 7 hours into rehearsal, since Jazzy was new, she had to be taught on her choreography and singing. It didn't really take long for her to get the hang of it all, which a few found impressive, and convenient so they can all move on to rehearsing other scenes.

At this point, they were on finish in practicing Say No to This, which now just needs polish. Cast were scattered everywhere, Leslie, Renee and Philippa sat at front of the stage, Daveed, Oak, and Anthony were beside the curtain. Everyone was just curious to see how this plays out.

"Okay Jas, take your time on practicing this part, a little tricky on the high note. So yeah, take your time." Lin suggested, standing aside

Jazzy cleared her throat, taking a deep breath and sang "Whatever he wants, if you pay, you can stay!"

Eyes grew wide, jaws dropped, to line of a song that was sung flawlessly. Everyone applauded her, and she couldn't help but crept a huge smile on her face.

"Astounding!" Lin remarked, applauding her

"Dang gurl." Daveed stepped forward, along with Anthony and Oak

"How is it that you guys had a hard time casting a Maria?!" Pippa joked, in which everyone laughed

"Wasn't easy okay." Lin chuckled, shaking his head

"You did amazing for a rehearsal Jas." Renee smiled "Can't wait to see how you perform on a show."

"So guys, I think that's most for today, we can all go now." Lin announced

Renee, Pippa and Jazzy were headed to their shared dressing room, talking while on the way.

"How long have you been singing like that?" Pippa asked enthused

"My mom and I sing a lot, even when I was little she and I would just spontaneously break out to song." She giggled a bit "Both my parents were very supportive on what I wanted to do."

"Well that turned out great." Pippa smiled

They enter the room, grabbing their bags and phones.

"You have any plans Jas?" Renee asked, fixing her hair

"Not really, maybe sleep, which I didn't get much of last night because of today." She told

"Need a ride?" Pippa asked, showing her car keys, suggesting

"Nah, I think I'll walk around a bit." She shook her head "Thanks though."

Jazzy grabbed her bag, and walked up to the front door "Bye girls, see you tomorrow."

"Bye Jazzy." They both said, as Jazzy made her way out

She was walking through the halls of the dressing rooms, she checked her phone for messages or calls she might have missed, when she ran into someone. Them running into each other made Jas drop her phone.

"Oh no your phone." He picked it up immediately, handing it over Jazzy got a better view of whom it was "So sorry."

"My fault, I wasn't looking at where I was going." She chuckled nervously, grabbing her phone "Anthony, right?"
