I stared at the doll, taunting me.
"Alright tell me, what's the story now? Am I going to have my family die a horrible fate? Or or will they get captured too? Just get it over with you wench." I said with disgust then the doll changes to a girl with a blue robe and she looks at me and smiles a Barbie grin. Creepy.
"If you would like to know young Kye, Alec is planning to take the rest of her powers ohh" she looks at her nails and sighs "a week from now" she looks at me slowly.
"And?!" I say walking closer to her and she stops me.
"Right when your death date is due". I stop and look at her. She shrugs then looks at her nails and starts humming casually and I clear my throat trying to keep the lump down.
"Err my....my what?" her head snaps up then looks back at me....and smiles.
"Death date of course, I mean if you want to save your sister and uh, live" she slowly gets up and walks over to me leaning in and whispering "your gonna have to kill alec and leave" she pauses "today."
I try not to look at her as she leaves and after she does I drop to the floor with my head in my hands. I breath in and out as slowly as I can but it doesn't work. I get up and run back down to the kitchen and to my dad.
"Dad! we have to leave, today I...I saw the doll again c'mon!"
He looks at me calmly then nods and runs up to my brothers rooms and gets them.
We run out to our car with only a bag in one hand and I hop in after Tyler and my older brother Derrick. My dad starts driving and after a few hours I try to fight off sleep. My eyes are about to close when we screech to a stop and my father breaths heavily.
"Why did we stop?! Dad where are w-" I start when I see a huge hole in the middle of the road. I slowly get out with Derrick and walk over to the hole and look into it.
There are blue and green lights leading straight down into nothingness as if an alien spaceship crashed and the lights where left behind.
"Oops" I hear before me and Derrick are shoved into the hole falling into the lights. Soon the lights are gone and we fall into the deep darkness.
