After many hours of figuring out how to wrap and clean my leg using a piece of my shirt, I lift myself off the ground and walk over to Derrick and pull him up and look at him.
"Let's just keep going, I feel like we're getting close" I say and start walking. Derrick walks up next to me walking (more like skipping) happily and I look at him and smirk.
"What?" Derrick says cheerfully. I swear sometimes he's acts like a happy and drunk leprechaun...and he's supposed to be the oldest.
"Sometimes I wonder why your the oldest" I joke and he laughs. We start searching in caves, trees, anywhere that can help us find out more information about our sister. Then we both hear giggles and we jump and hold onto each other scared.
The giggling keeps going then two nymphs walk out giggling and pointing at us. One nymph has a light blue dress with little flowers at the bottom and blond hair with pink highlights. The other one has a midnight black dress with ruffles at the bottom with black hair with orange highlights. Devilish nymphs as Alexandria would like to say.
"Do you guys know where our sister is?" I ask them calmly and they keep giggling. The blue dress nymph whispers something in the other nymphs ear and they laugh and giggle. They walk over to us and the black haired nymph takes my hands and looks me straight in the eyes. I try to look away but her stare is too hard.
"Of course we know where she is, she's at the abandoned prison on Vladimir island, surrounded by water. Maybe after you save her," she pokes my nose "we can hang out, maybe. My name is Crystal and that's my friend Lily" she says and Lily, her friend, whimpers.
I look to where Lily whimpers and I see...the angel? Why would they be scared of her?
The angel walks over to me and crystal moves out of the way and her face has a deep fear carved into it. Then the angel looks at me.
"I'm still wondering why you haven't figured this out yet young Kye, but I have been working for Alec since Alexandria was taken...funny isn't it? How things never work out the way you planned it?" She says and I step back terrified. I close my eyes and tighten my shaky hands working up my courage again. I open my eyes and look at the angel.
"I had to tell you at some point didn't I? I have been helping alec take Alexandria's powers and soon she will be just a worthless and helpless human being"
"Fight" I say and I hear Derrick suck in a breath and Crystal and Lily hide behind him.
"You don't want to see my dark side, oh, before I go, even if you do save your sister, she'll be nothing because you will be too late" she says before she disappears.
I yell in frustration and close my eyes balling my fists. One...two...three breaths to relax, that's all. I breath out my third breath then open my eyes and look at Derrick then walk over to Crystal.
"You said she's on Vladimir island right?" I quickly say and she nods.
"Go now, we will try to help you fight. Please she's getting too weak...go" she says and pushes me gently. I turn and look at her for a second...she seems familiar. I shake off the thought and is about to turn away when she stops me again.
"Oh, one more thing you need to know, Tyler isn't your brother...he's Alec's" she says looking me in the eyes. I bite my lip and look down then nod.
"An hour from here is Candor Beach, if you use your powers you can get there faster, run" Lily says and Crystal looks at her and smiles.
I walk away a little and open my hand. I start chanting into the light out of the light through the light, show me the way to my sunny place. My hand soon starts glowing a deep blue color and a ball of energy hits a tree. The trees then glow blue making a path for me and Derrick. We start running and I stop then look at Crystal and Lily.
"Thank you" I yell then turn and keep running.
We're coming Alex, just hold on.
