As my arms start to weaken I slow down on my rowing. I then stop, putting my paddles on the rests of the boat as I look up at the moon. It's very bright tonight, and full I must say I think to myself and smile a little. I lean over the boat and look down at the moonlit water, looking into my own reflection in the quiet water. God I look like I've been through hell and back, and this is just the beginning of it. Both the left and right side are covered with dirt, , bruises and a scar on my left cheek. I squint a little and touch it, wondering how in the hell did I get this? I sit back up in the boat and look around. But all I hear is silence. I turn and look at Vladmir Island, and I sigh, listening to the silence of the night.
"About that time limit I said earlier" the Doll says appearing in front of me. I yelp and jump back a little, until I realize it's only the doll. I sigh, my fist very tightly gripping my shirt in a tight ball. She just laughs and looks at her nails, twirling her hair. "I was wrong, but don't tell anyone I told you"
"Huh? W-what are you talking about wrong wh-what do ya mean wrong I-" I start, stumbling and mixing up my words until she holds her pink nail polished hand to my face with a slight annoyance in her smile.
"I said I was wrong, in the sense that you have more time than I thought but you still must get to them pretty quick, Alec isn't wasting any time having fun with those two, in the sense that he's taking all their power away and telling them your never going to make it because the monsters that survive in these waters to keep people like you out, now I must go I have a dinner party I am late for" and with the snap of her fingers she's gone again.
Oh perfect, just what I needed another damned distraction to keep me away from them, the stupid bastard is probably doing this so I can never get to them. Maybe he's ri- no, no no no he's wrong you will get them Kye you will! Cold tears start dripping down my face and i close my eyes breathing in deeply, listening to the sounds of the gentle breeze of the wind and the sound of water rushing towards me. Wait what?
As I turn, a giant wave pushes my boat farther across while big waves rock it back and forth like a rocking horse. I hold onto the sides of the boat which I now realize are giving me splinters, and look up. Bad idea. Above me is a twenty two foot monster with three tentacles, four eyes and two mouths, the color a sickly green and dark blue around the head and a deep purple and red for the body. It let out a roar as it dove towards me and I scream and cover my face as it doesn't go into my boat, it goes past it into the water and everything goes silent for a moment before my stomach drops as I'm launched into the air by the monster, still holding onto the boat for dear life.
While in the air the boat almost flips over completely, but I turn it back before we hit the water again as I get drenched once again by the monster. It pokes it's head out of the water, looking a little curious, and then it dives back under the water and I look, seeing the monster almost clearly now, slowly circling my boat. I reach for the paddles when the monster jumps at my boat, biting almost a full chunk of it off. Oh mother of god is the only thought that keeps running through my brain again and again and again. I glance at the water, trying to calm my breathing down and I look at the monster again.
It dives deep until I can't see it anymore then it comes up, flinging me into the air and I find myself flying out of the boat, first flailing then when I realize I dive into the water, coming up as fast as possible. I swim to the surface and breath in deeply, that is until I get dunked under again by the gigantic waves the monster was making. Think think think, where's the island? I look around and the island looks just a short swim away. I paddle myself to the surface, breathing in as much air as I can and dive back down, swimming as fast as possible, the island gets closer and closer until I'm grabbed by a slimy and sticky tentacle. I turn, seeing the monster with a sly grin on its face as it throws it's tentacle up out of the water and throws me halfway across the lake onto the beach of the island and I land in two palm trees then fall right into the sand. I don't move for a moment.
Am I dead? Am I alive? Is this real? I think as I run my hands over my face, chest, neck head shoulders stomach legs knees everything. Well, at least I'm alive. I slowly grab the palm tree trunk and slowly pull myself up, breathing in and out slowly as possible. I look out at the moonlit lake with the waves starting to calm down. A tentacle creeps out of the water and waved to me a little, with a little screech going along with it. It goes back into the water and I sigh.
Why did it help me? No matter, I have to find them before Alec completely drains them fully of their powers. Actually first of all, I have to dry myself off though that would not be that hard. Wind, air and fire, bring my most newest desire I mutter to myself as fire wraps around me, blowing around until it slowly stops and I sigh, feeling the now warm dry clothes. Kind of like when you just get them out of the dryer and they are still warm. Like home. Huh, seems like some distant memory now, we'll be home soon...as soon as you guys hold onto the hope that I am coming...because I'm the power that will take Alec down for good and take back what you guys need to live...I'm coming, just hold on. I look up, seeing a giant steel building gleaming in the moonlit sky.
"Oh I'm coming, I'm coming in like a hurricane" I mutter as I run down the path to either my demise or my gain.

Hiii, please don't kill me! I gave you guys an extra long chapter because I knew I haven't updated this since, well, ten freakin months ago. Yes it was partially my fault but it was also my brains fault because it made me hit a horrible writing block wall for almost 5 months. Not fun. Anyways, sorry if there's grammar or spelling errors, I wrote this chapter at almost midnight so bear with me. Also I will try to do much more updating for the book, in fact it's almost done (though there may be a sequel *cough* *cough*), so yeah if you enjoyed this vote and comment maybe?
