When I'm without you I'm weak.
I can barely stay on my feet.
But when you and I meet.
I remember how to breathe.
I stand up tall.
I don't feel like I'm gonna fall.
You break down my walls.
I've kept them up for so long.
Even when it felt wrong.
But you tore them down.
Threw the pieces on the ground.
You saw all the pain.
With your tears like the rain.
You washed it all away.
So baby please stay.
Don't leave me alone.
All on my own.
My walls are all gone.
I have nowhere to run.
Then the tears begin to come.
But with your eyes like the sun.
You push away all my fears.
You stop all the tears.
You heal the holes in this heart.
That's been torn all apart.
You set my soul free.
You show me the real me.
You've got one hand...
I've got another...
Put them together...
And we have each other.
