Chapter 17 -- How Could You?

Winnie's P.O.V

2 months later – Florida

It's been 2 months since I last saw my uncle and when the boys first “captured” me. It may sound crazy but I'm so happy the boys kidnapped me and let me live with them. They're honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I'm not even gonna mention Liam. He is beyond perfect. He treats me like I'm gold and it's amazing. I honestly love him to pieces. I'm currently sitting on the couch watching tv while the boys are out, except Harry. He and his friend are hanging out in the lounge room upstairs. As I was watching tv, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I expected it to be Harry, but it was actually his friend Max.

“So, Winnie, how's it going?” Max asked while sitting down next to me.

“Fine. Do you need something?” I asked.

“Nahh, I just don't think a pretty girl like you deserves to be down here by herself." he smirked. I looked at him with a weird expression, when he suddenly jolted forward and crashed his lips on to mine. I tried my hardest to push him away but he just kept holding on to me.

“WHAT THE HELL?!” I heard someone scream and my heart literally sank.

Liam's P.O.V

Tonight was the night I was finally going to tell Winnie that I was in love with her. The boys and I were coming back from a guys night in downtown Orlando, when Louis opened the hotel door and I was shocked to see Winnie snogging some random guy on the couch.

“WHAT THE HELL!?” I screamed. They both broke away and Winnie looked at me with hurt and confusion.

“WINNIE WHAT IS GOING ON?!” I screamed.

“Liam! It's not what it looks like. He came on to me and I tried pushing him an....” she said but was interrupted by my yelling.

“SAVE IT. I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO THIS TO ME!” I screamed and ran off.

Winnie's P.O.V

“SAVE IT. I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO THIS TO ME!” Liam screamed and ran off. I watched as he threw down a purple box with a silver bow tied around it. My heart literally shattered and I couldn't believe this actually happened. I looked at the other boys and they all looked at me in disgrace and I ran out the door.

“Winnie!” I heard them yell, but I kept running. I ran right out of the hotel and hollered down a taxi and asked them to take me to the nearest hotel.

About three days later Louis finally called me and asked if he could pick me up and if we could talk. I was shocked  and kind of hurt because it took him three days to call me and check to see if I was ok, but I immediately said yes and got dressed and waited for him to pick me up. He drove to the front of the hotel, picked me up, and then drove to an empty parking lot. He put his car in park and we sat in silence for a while.

“So mind telling me what happened?” Louis said, finally broke the silence.

“I was sitting alone when Harry's friend came downstairs and started talking to me and then he kissed me. I tried hard to break away from him Louis, but he wouldn't let me go. It's like he knew Liam was going to show up at that exact time and knew he would walk in on us kissing.” I sobbed. “Louis I love him so much and I don't wanna lose him.” I cried. Louis then pulled me in for hug and held me while I cried.

“I'm gonna talk to Harry about it and see if he had anything to do with it, but on the other hand, I believe you Win. I don't think you would intentionally do that to Liam.” Louis said. I kept sobbing as he drove back to the hotel and dropped me off.

Louis's P.O.V

Holding a broken Winnie in my arms, made me want to cry. She was so sad and I'm positive she is telling the truth. What if she is right about Harry and his friend though? Would Harry honestly go that low? Liam hasn't came out of his room since it happened, except when we dragged him to the living room so Lou could cut his hair. Niall, Zayn, and I have been bringing food to him and he won't even talk to us. I have never seen him this heartbroken before. I drove back to the hotel and walked straight into Harry's room.

“Harry we need to talk.” I said and slammed the door shut.

“What's up Lou?” he asked.

“You planned it didn't you?” I asked.

“Planned what Lou?” he asked.

“You knew Liam was coming home at that certain time and you told your friend to go down there and kiss Winnie so when Liam walked in the door he would see them.” I said.

“Lou that's crazy!” he shouted.

“Tell me the truth! Do you even realize how broken Liam and Winnie are?! I've never seen two people so sad in my entire life!” I screamed.

“Okay fine! I did! I asked Max to come over and kiss Winnie so Liam would see and he would break up with her! Are you happy now?!” he asked.

I heard a loud gasp from behind me, and that's when I realized Zayn and Niall were listening in on our conversation.

“How could you do this to Liam?!” Zayn yelled

“Because I love her! I wanted her to be mine! Not his!” he shouted.

“So you broke Winnie's heart and Liam's heart just to get what you wanted?! You're sick!” Zayn screamed and then stormed away.

“I've never been more disappointed in you Harry.” Niall said and walked away.

“You need to go talk to Liam.” I said. Harry let out a loud sigh and walked towards Liam's room.

**And again to all my readers, Harry is an amazing person and I know that, just rememeber this is a fanfic and I know for 100% the real Harry would never do any of the stuff that "pretend" Harry does in this fanfic, so don't get upset or leave any hate.
