Winnie's P.O.V.

“Karen, it was so nice of you to take me shopping today.” I said to her as we began to prepare dinner.

“It was my pleasure Winnie.” she smiled.

“I feel bad that you bought everything for me, I could have paid.” I explained.

“Winnie, I wanted to.” she laughed. As we continued talking, the front door opened and I heard 6 familiar voices approaching the kitchen.

“Well hello ladies.” Geoff said as he walked into the kitchen. I watched as he pecked Karen on the cheek and he flashed me a warm smile.

“Hey Win.” all the boys said as they came through the kitchen. As each of them passed me, I looked up to see if it was Liam, but it wasn't. Finally Liam strolled in, and I felt his arms wrap around my waist.

“Hey babe.” he said as he rested his chin on my shoulder.

“Hi, how was golfing with the boys?” I asked. For some reason, this sent the boys into a fit of laughter and Liam dropped his hands from my waist. I set the knife down that I was using to chop vegetables with, and turned to face him. I gasped when I saw he had a huge bump on the right side of his head, and his right side was all bruised.

“Liam! What happened?!” I asked. He grabbed my hand and sat down at a chair at the table and motioned for me to sit on his lap. So I slowly walked over, sat on his lap, and he wrapped his arms around me as I put my arms around his neck and stared at him.

“Niall was swinging and I kind of got in the way and he whacked me in the head.” he explained.

“Liam, you could have a concussion. Did you go to the doctors?” I asked.

“Ya I did babe, everything's fine.” he said while trying to reassure me.

“Liam, you're not supposed to get bumps and scratches, that's my job.” I laughed.

“That is very true, you are famous for that.” he chuckled. I looked him in the eyes and then leaned down and lightly kissed the side of his face.

“Okay, you boys need to get washed up. We're having dinner in ten.” Karen said.

“Yes mum.” they all said.

“I'm going to put on a different shirt, I have flour all over mine.”I laughed.

“Sounds good sweetheart.” Karen laughed. The boys started going upstairs so I chased after them, and Liam was following close behind.

“Liam, can we talk to you for a minute?” I heard his parents ask. I turned around and we made eye contact and I nodded for him to go over there.

Liam's P.O.V

I watched as Winnie chased after the boys and so I decided to run after her. As I went to wrap my arms around her waist, my parents called for me.

“Liam, can we talk to you for a minute?” my parents asked.

Winnie turned around to look at me and she gave me a slight nod giving me the okay. I walked back downstairs to my parents and they shut the door to the kitchen.

“So, what's up?” I asked.

“We just wanted to tell you how much we really like Winnie.” my mum said.

My face lit up at the mention of her name and my parents laughed.

“We can also tell how much you like her.” my dad laughed.

“I do, I really love her. I'm certain she is the one.” I explained.

“That's great Liam, I actually wanted to tell you that I gave her the diamond bracelet today.” she smiled.

“Wait, you mean THE diamond bracelet?” I asked.

My mum nodded and I felt my smile grow even wider.

“So you think she's the one too?” I asked.

“I do sweetheart. I took her shopping today and really got to know her. She's so different than Danielle and Sophia. She's so genuine, so real, and so beautiful.” my mum said.

“Thanks mum. I love her to pieces. For her birthday, I actually gave her a promise ring, meaning that I want to marry her someday.” I said. “You haven't noticed the ring on her finger?”

“I guess not, but Liam that's amazing.” my dad said and patted my shoulder.

“I'm really proud of you Liam.” my mum said and kissed my cheek.

Right as we finished discussing Winnie, she popped her head in the doorway.

“Is it safe to come in here?” she asked.

“Of course darling.” my dad said.

“Great.” she smiled and walked in the door. She walked towards me and I wrapped my arms around her and she kissed my cheek. Eventually, the boys made their way downstairs and we all shared a wonderful family dinner together. As I was helping my mum clear the dishes from the table, I looked over at Winnie and she was laughing her head off at my dad. He was being the typical goof that he is and she was dying of laughter.

“Her laugh is contagious.” my mum laughed as I was wiping a dish.

“It really is.” I said.

“Looks like your dad and her are really getting along.” she added.

“Ya I noticed, I'm glad you both like her.” I said.

“We love her sweetheart.” my mum said. I turned my attention back to Winnie and my dad, and Winnie was making some funny face and my dad was trying to mimic her. After my mum and I finished we joined everyone in the living room.

“Winnie, we want to apologize again for what happened between Sophia and Nicola yesterday.” my dad said.

“Don't worry about it. It's over with and I'm not going to lose sleep over it.” she said.

“How are you not upset? Sophia tried taking your boyfriend.” Louis said.

“Because I know one thing for sure. Liam loves me and Sophia can't just come up in here and steal my man.” she said and snapped her finger. All at once we broke out into a fit of laughter.

“You my dear are hilarious.” my dad said.

“Trust us Mr. Payne, we all know that.” Harry said. I looked back at Winnie and she was smiling, showing how proud she was of the complement and what she said.
