Chapter 18 -- The Unforgettable Truth

Louis's P.O.V

As Harry got up, I followed him into Liam's room to make sure he actually went through with it.

“Uh Liam. There's something I need to tell you.” Harry said. Liam didn't even pick his head up or act interested. Harry cleared his throat and began talking.

“I paid Max to come over and kiss Winnie so you would see and you would break up with her.” he admitted.

“You bastard!” Liam yelled. I have never seen someone get up so quickly before and tackle someone as fast as Liam did.

“How could you do this to me?!” he asked while pinning Harry to the ground.

“Because I love her! I wanted her to be mine! Not yours!” Harry said.

“You're a pathetic excuse for a man. How could you put Winnie through all this pain?! You made her think that I hated her and this was all her fault! You're supposed to be my best friend! How could you do this to me?!” Liam screamed. I watched as tears filled both Liam's eyes and Harry's eyes and Harry ran out of the room. Liam then sat down on the floor and put his hands in his lap.

“Lou, I can't believe what I have done. I was so mean to her and she didn't even do anything. I'm such an asshole!” he said and then started sobbing.

I got down on my knees and sat next to him and then put my arm around him.

“You didn't know, and I doubt she is mad at you. I can take you to talk to her if you want.” I said.

Liam quickly nodded his head and I helped him up.

“Go clean up and we can go.” I said.

Winnie's P.O.V

I hated being alone in this big hotel room. All I wanted was for Liam to come running in here and pull me into his arms and hold me, but I know that's not gonna happen. I suddenly heard a knock at my door and my face lit up a little bit. When I reached the door and opened it, I was hit over the head with something and everything went black. When I eventually woke up, I was laying outside in the middle of the woods, on a big dirt pile. I looked around and it was pitch dark outside. I tried screaming for help but nothing would come out, and that's when I felt duct tape across my mouth.

“Well well well. Look who decided to wake up.” a voice said. I knew that deep husky voice from anywhere. Wren suddenly walked in front of me and smirked at me. I couldn't believe he was out of jail.

“Shocked to see me?” he smirked. “Did you know they let people out my age for good behavior?”

I instantly started crying and he just kept laughing.

“You know Winnie, if you would have just kept being mine, none of this would have happened. You would never have gotten beat up by me, I would never had gone to jail and have it affect my entire future, you would never had been sent off, and you would have never fallen in love with that asshole, but you were always bad at making decisions. So, instead of going through all that pain, I'm just gonna end it for you.” he smirked. My eyes grew big and he laughed again.

“No I'm not going to shoot you, I'm going to bury you.” he smirked.

“It's a quiet death and you won't suffer.” he said. He walked towards me, hugged me tightly and then kissed my forehead.

“You know you were a good girlfriend at the time, but you just didn't put out for me.” he said and picked me up. I looked around as he carried me and then he threw me into a big hole. I landed hard on my back and it knocked the wind right out of me. Suddenly, dirt was collapsing on me and it was falling down like an avalanche. I instantly panicked and couldn’t believe this was how I was gonna die.
