As the day progressed it got less stressful. All I really had to do was pass out papers and clean up, which was all done with the flick of my wand. Snape had a double class period and that was it for the day. Fortunately Harry, Ron and Hermione were in the class.

Snape gave them there assignment, Harry raised his hand "Sir... What do I do with-" Snape interrupted him "Potter I do hope that you really think about what you're going to ask me before you ask..." He then stared at Harry for a short period of time "Mr. Potter there were directions given for a reason... Even someone with such a short attention span like yourself would be able to read these basic instructions... Now get back to work..." Snape hissed returning to his seat next to mine. "Severus... You don't have to be so harsh on the poor kid..." I said quietly hearing near by Slytherins snickering.

He ignored me and continued on with grading parchments. I sighed and stood up walking around the classroom stopping at Hermione. Summoning myself a chair I sat next to her " good evening Miss Granger!" I said happily crossing my legs as she stood over her cauldron. "Hello Professor..." She said happily doing  her work.

"How was your summer?" I asked sweetly " Well it was great professor thanks for asking! my parents and I took a trip to Paris! it was very lovely there!" She said smiling "that's good! I hear Paris is exceptionally beautiful around summer time... Well I'll leave you to work!" I then stood up and flicked my wand vanishing the chair. Then I walked over to Ron and put my hand on his shoulder " Mr. Weasley... Oh no... This simply won't do... Here" I waved my wand which added a few items and mixed the potion thoroughly.

"Thanks professor!" I smiled and walked to Harry "so... Chosen boy is it?" I asked and chuckled "I prefer Harry, thanks..." He said shortly " well Mr. Potter if you ever need anything you know where to find me..." I said sweetly. Walking back to my seat and sitting next to Severus. "I like when I make people smile!" I said happily "well... That's the difference between you and I..." He said staring down at the parchment.

"It wouldn't kill you to be nice every once and a while..." I said crossing my arms "oh darling... You never know" he said winking which sent shivers down my spine I bit my lip roughly. Why does he do this to me? He kills me on the inside, in my eyes he is absolutely perfect. The class period ended quickly, after the last person Severus flicked his wand shutting the door he then sighed intently. "It's always the last class that is the hardest." He said sitting down in his seat picking up a quill and a piece of parchment. I stood up and hopped on top of his desk

"(F/N)" he said after a moment of silence "yeah?" I replied "you must learn how to keep your minds eye shut... it's quite distracting" he breathed sensually I blushed. "God damnit Severus..." I groaned "language" he threatened "oh shut up." I hissed.

Then there was a knock on the door I hopped off the desk and Severus stood up. "Come in..." he said coldly the door knob turned and Draco Malfoy stood in the door way "professor... We need to discuss something..." Draco said rather sad. Snape looked at him seriously then gestured for him to come in "miss (L/N)... Can you please give Draco and I some privacy..." Severus said sympathetically.

I smiled and nodded "of course..." I then left the dungeon and began making my way towards Sybil Trewalnry. I climbed the ladder towards the trap door. Sybil opened the trap door knowing I was there "come in... Sit..." She basically demanded. I sat across from her at a small table "that boy he's trouble..." She mumbled "Who?.." I asked "Mr. Draco Malfoy... Who else dear?" She asked.

"W-what's happened?" I asked "nothing that you need to worry your pretty little head about..." She said "so!" She said clapping her hands startling me "you want to know what they're talking about... Don't you?" I nodded "yes...I do" I replied.

She waved her hands mystically around the crystal ball that sat between us "hmm... That's odd" she said after a long period of silence "what?" I asked sweetly "I can't seem to get a clear picture..." She said calmly "there's dark magic being used here..." She said darkly trying to look into the magical transparent ball.

She then stopped and looked up at me sweetly holding my hands "if you know what's best for yourself dear... Stay away from Severus... "She warned I bit my lip and let go of her hands "why?" I asked trying to maintain my posture.

"My dear, you don't know?" She asked "know what?" I asked "Severus snape used to be a death eater..." I stood up quietly "where are you going?" She asked worried.

"I have to go talk to Dumbledore" I said heading back downstairs, i quickly walked to dumbledores office gaining a few greetings from first years. Deja vu... Everytime something big happens in my life I feel as though I have to consult in Dumbledore. Talking to Dumbledore is just very reassuring to me, everything is okay when I talk to him. I guess it's just the lack of a father figure in my life. Whenever I was younger I would constantly send him letters hoping my old head master would respond, and normally he did. Over summers he'd let me stay for a while till my mother needed me home. It wasn't that my home life was bad it just felt better.

My father died when I was rather young and my mother always worked. By the time I got into Hogwarts my sister would never want to be around me. She was older than me and she could drive by that time, and to be honest I was a very annoying child. Clearly things have changed for the best... I hope. My father was pure blood and my mother was a muggle, I am a half blood and my sister is a muggle. I just feel more comfortable around witches and wizards.

I continued down the hall until I got to the gargoyles. I said the password, walked up the stairs to his office, and knocked on the door. A faint "come in..." can be heard on the other side of the surprisingly thin door. I reached for the knob and pushed the giant door open.

"Hello professor (L/N)." Dumbledore said greeting me as I looked around the mystical room "Professor... I would like to speak with you..." I said. I looked around his large office to see him sitting at his desk with a shorter pink lady standing over it. "Oh... sorry... am I interrupting something?" I asked sweetly. "No not at all... Dolores would you mind coming back after dinner?" Dumbledore asked the angry looking lady. She grunted angrily then left his office in a huff slamming the door behind her.

"Please sit..." Dumbledore said gesturing towards the cushioned seats in front of him. "Thank you..." I said awkwardly amazed by his room, He never ceases to amaze me. "I'm sorry about Dolores... the ministry wants me gone... but I refuse. I fear that the ministry is going down a dangerous path. If anything were to happen to me Miss (L/N) make your top priority to protect the children." He sounds just like Remus...

"Yes of course professor, but..." he then interrupted me "just do as I say." I nodded "now what is it that you need?" He asked sweetly folding his hands in front of himself on the desk.

"Well... it's about Severus." I started "I completely trust Severus." Dumbledore started "but sir he was a death eater-" "yes but he is on our side now. I don't want to hear anymore of Severus we have bigger things to deal with now. We can use all the help we can get." Dumbledore finished.

"I understand sir..." I said staring down at my hands "last year... when voldemort came back. Severus was helping us deal with a death eater, he was not with Voldemort during his rebirth. He is faithful to us now." He said reassuringly knowing I wouldn't quit pestering him until he gave me proof.

Normally I would trust Dumbledore but I don't think I can with this, my head is telling me otherwise. There was another knock at the door gaining our attention. "Come in..." Dumbledore said loud but calmly. The door opened to reveal the tall sassy boy I know as Harry Potter "Professor may i speak to you alone?" He asked.

"Of course... I'm sorry" I said abruptly standing and heading for the door once, I reached the door I decided to say something to Dumbledore. "Thank you professor... you have really changed my prospective. Have a great day." I added turning around and exiting the room shutting the door quietly behind me.

I descended the staircase and left the secret passageway. I began walking down the hall, should I bring this up to Severus? I do like Severus but I don't think I can trust him. I realized that dinner would be starting soon and I would need so eat sooner or later so i began making my way towards the great hall.
