School is almost over and Dolores hasn't made any insane demands yet, but she pushed my favorite twins to their breaking points. Poor Fred and George... I'll miss them. I was passing out papers one afternoon for Severus and Harry Potter had a scar on his hand which read I must not tell lies this infuriated me. The scar looked fresh which made my blood boil, that snake Umbridge did this to him.
After all the classes I slammed the door shut behind Draco. "How could she do this to a student?" I asked "Do what?" Snape said sighing intently as he put the parchment down and was now looking at me.
"Potter has words carved into his hand!" I stated pacing around "He probably deserved it..." snape hisses returning to his papers. "Severus!" I yelled angrily "no child deserves that. Never say that again." I threatened he sighed. "Or what?" He replied.
I thought about it "I won't stay with you anymore." I stated "you won't." He said calmly "stop lying to yourself. I'm sure what Potter did deserve some type of punishment-" I then interrupted him.
"Not like that!" I yelled "keep your voice down." He demanded standing as he walked over towards me. "Don't question her methods, Im sure this will all be over soon... with rebellious kids starting that ridiculous club... Dumbledores Army... what were they thinking? The order is coming up with a plan right now everything will be okay." Severus said looking into my frustrated orbs with his cold and calm ones.
"Whatever..." I stated Severus grabbed my shoulders roughly "I know you... you won't let this go. You have to." He stated. I looked up at him defiantly "If The Order is doing things right now then how don't I know about them? I mean someone should've told me something by now." I said crossing my arms.
"You're so stubborn..." he stated relaxing his grip as he embraced me in a warm hug, I hugged him back. "You'll know in due time, my darling." He stated once more as he released me. Over the announcements Severus got called to Umbridges office.
"Can I come?" I asked, Snapes harsh features softened. "If you must." He said walking quickly out of the classroom I followed closely behind unable to keep up with his fast movements. Once we made it to her office he knocked on the door annoyed.
"Come in." A harsh loud voice said beyond the door. Severus opened the door shutting it behind me. Draco Malfoy Ginny Weasley Pansy Parkins, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter stood in her office shamefully. "Professor snape I-" Dolores started but stopped once she saw me "Why'd you bring her?" She hissed. "She has more authority than I do." He stated smoothly.
"Mr. Potter broke into my office and tried using the floo network." She stated ignoring Snapes statement. "That is worthy of expulsion!" She stated aggressively.
"Padfoots in trouble!" Harry shouted over the loud arguing. Snape looked wide eyed I grasped Severus' hand tightly. "What're you talking about?!" Snape said aggressively "Is that code?!" Umbridge asked over the arguing. "Not that I know of." Snape said looking at umbridges troubled features. "Thank you Severus you may leave." She stated.
Severus swished his cloak around and exited the room dramatically as I followed meekly behind. We walked quickly and silently back to the dungeons. Once we got there he shut and locked it.
"I have to inform the order." Snape stated conjuring his patronus and sending the message. "All we have left to do now is wait." Snape said "let's go to the great hall. Just act casual don't throw anyone off." He stated.
I nodded as we linked arms and casually made our way to the great hall. We sat down at the staff table a little late. I didn't eat I couldn't "I'm worried... I'm scared, what's going to happen?" I whispered.
"Calm down you're going to draw attention to yourself." Snape said rather harshly I took a deep breath in and stared down at my chicken and mashed potatoes over gravy. "I can't eat." I said pushing my plate away, Severus ate gracefully. "You never eat anymore. You're going to get sick." Severus said sounding rather worried.
"Maybe we should get down to the ministry." I suggested "Why? We have no business there." He stated taking a sip of whatever was in his chalice. "What if somethings wrong? I can't wait any longer-" Severus then interrupted me.
"Enough." He demanded forcefully I layed my hands in my lap and stared at the table, Severus lightly held my hands not taking his eye off the students. "Fine. We shall go to the ministry after the students are in bed." Snape said regretfully my face lit up.
"Thank you, Severus." I said sweetly "Now eat, can't we just have a nice quiet dinner?" He questioned I giggled as I picked up my fork and had some mashed potatoes. Later that night Severus and I left the castle and apparated to a pay phone. We both stepped inside the surprisingly large phone booth and Severus picked up the phone while I kept watch.
The pay phone descended underground quickly as a lady came over the speakers. I personally have never been into the ministry because I had no need. Well... I've been to the court rooms a couple of times on account of me being a mischievous child, however I never ventured any further. I was a bit like Harry potter but never as important. Severus lead us down a long corridor where we heard people talking. We walk into a room where I see the order talking quietly.
Sirius black was in no danger and everything was fine. This must mean we were set up. "I believe Harry Potter is in danger." Lupin stated loudly gaining everyone's attention. "We need to find him before death eaters do." He continued. Just then we heard a loud bang. The order ran out of the room towards a balcony that overlooked the floor below.
Death Eaters surrounded a group of kids. The order rushed to the ground floor and started defending the kids. I got a few bruises and cuts from things falling and me dodging fallen glass, however I was doing pretty well. As I occupied a rather large death eater Severus grabbed my hand and he dragged me towards an exit. I tore my arm out of his grip "what're you doing?!" I asked angrily. "We need to leave now. I have alerted Dumbledore he is coming. If we don't leave now we will pay major consequences." Severus stated.
"I'm staying! I need to protect the children." Severus then raised his wand, "I didn't want to do this... but we have to leave." He then touched his glowing wand to my forehead immediately putting me to sleep. That bastard...
