I awoke in the hospital wing but in a separate room away from the children. I sat up but felt someone grasping my hand lightly. I glanced down and saw a sleeping Severus, his head laying on the soft cushioned blanket. I reached down with my other hand and gently stroked his hair.
He stirred then immediately bolted up still holding my hand. "I'm uh..." He then started blushing releasing my hand and sitting up straight. "I am glad to see that you are feeling better miss (L/N)... Perhaps I should leave so you can get your rest..." He then stood up and made to leave.
"No... Stay I want to talk about last night..." I said sweetly stretching tiredly. He then came back over and sat down awkwardly yet composed. "Severus... I am extremely sorry for the way I have treated you... But what the hell happened? Please fill me in about my life... All I can remember from our childhood is being Sirius's girlfriend..." I said softly.
"some things aren't meant to be revealed yet my dear...." He said gently trying not to upset me "whatever happened with you and I?.." He glanced down and stood back up "I really should get going... Get some rest..." He stood up and walked out the door leaving me alone.
I disappointingly stood up got changed into my normal attire and exited the wing hoping to find Remus. I walked into the office he and I shared he was packing his things up. "Where are you leaving so soon?" I asked sadly "oh good! you're up... How're you feeling?" Remus asked turning towards me he was all bandaged up.
"Im fine but how are you feeling you don't look too well..." I asked he chuckled "I am fine! just a few scratches..." He said smiling. He then turned and continued packing "where are you going?" I asked again more seriously. "Well, I've decided the safety of the children is top priority so I am leaving... I'm sure we'll be in contact soon..." He said winking then hugging me tightly.
"Write me? okay?" I asked sadly "of course..." He said smiling I then exited the office...
It's been a day since Remus leaving, the office was empty and the children were preparing to leave. I made a decision that I would resign from teaching and go spend time with my sister... She's all I have now... Severus won't tell me anything. What use am I here if I can barely remember anything?... I have informed Dumbledore that I was leaving, he tried to persuade me to stay but I politely declined his offers.
I said good bye to all the staff members Severus was very... Distraught to say the least. I shook Severus' hand lightly " promise to write?" I asked "promises were meant to be broken..." He said coldly "just write to me..." I said grabbing my bag and leaving Hogwarts.
I apparated onto the stairs of my sisters house. She knew I was coming but I didn't want to be rude. I knocked lightly on the door nervousness overtook me. A short frail brunette answered "(F/N)!" My sister said hugging me tightly "Mary..." I said sadly already missing my stay at Hogwarts....

It's been over a year since my departure from Hogwarts, living with my sister was a task... It was difficult but I was very grateful she took me in... I haven't received any letters from anyone. I sat at the kitchen table eating some pancakes and toast I have prepared for us. Her husband was already out of the house leaving her and I, well and her cat...
Then an owl came swooping through the kitchen window it landed on the table infront of me.
"Who's that from?" Mary asked " I don't know yet! it has just arrived!" I said excitedly. I detached the letter from the Owls foot and gave it a little piece of toast as a reward. I hurriedly opened it revealing slanted neat writing:
Dear (F/N),
You are extremely difficult to track down but I have managed. He who shall not be named has come back, we need your assistance immediately. I am coming to pick you up noon the day this arrives, be ready.

My eyes widened in shock I handed my sister the note emotionless. She read it quietly "this should be fun." She said to me "what do you mean? I can't just leave you!" I said trying to find an excuse "yes you can! Go have fun and live... Do it for me! Please? I want a brother in law!" She said happily.
We both jumped up and hugged each other "go pack! quick it's ten till 12.. Get a move on!" She basically shouted. I ran upstairs and packed everything I threw on my clothes and prepared for the departure. I wore a dress shirt dress pants and a black bow tie. I curled my hair to perfection and threw on some makeup. I wore black flats and my black cloak.
I packed my things triple checking everything just to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything. I ran downstairs to see a group of people standing in the house. "Ready to leave?" A tired raggedy Remus asked I smiled and nodded I hugged my sister tightly.
I grabbed my bags and held on tightly to Remus. We both apparated to 12 Grimmauld place, or Sirius blacks house. "What're we doing here?" I asked sweetly "no time to explain now... Let's get inside. Be quiet once you enter..." He said.
He knocked lightly on the door and a happy Sirius answered. "Welcome to my house please come in..." He said moving aside to let us in. We walked inside I marveled at the beautiful decor, we walked towards what seemed to be the kitchen.
We have lost most of the group it was just Remus Sirius and a gorgeous bubble gum haired lady. We sat down around the table next to each other I next to Sirius and across from us Remus sat next to the lady.
"Alright..." Remus said clapping his hands together "let's get down to business... This is Nymphadora Tonks-" she interrupted him "just Tonks is fine dear!" She said sweetly shaking my hand lightly. "Well then..." Remus said a bit taken aback by the sudden speaking.
"We are apart of a secret society fighting against Voldemort... We are the Order of the Phoenix" he said I stared at him confused "and what do you expect me to do?" I asked sweetly " I would like for you to join us... Dumbledore is fully aware of us asking you... Will you join us and help fight Voldemort and the remaining Death Eaters?" Remus asked a small smirk appeared on my face.
"Of course I'd like to join!"
