Moonya POV

Water thrown on my face again, I open my eyes and see the two men standing over me. They pick me up and dragged me out of the back of the truck and went to Dax. Dax said, "We're here, lead the way." The men push me forward and I fell. Dax said, "Get up!" Then kicks me on the other side breaking another rib. I really couldn't breathe, he said, "Get up!" he pulls me up and pushes me, I barely caught my balance and walked slowly.

While they were following me, I had to come up with a plan to get away from them. I should make a run, but if I do that, they will chase me down and beat me up again. What should I do? "Moonya!!" I turn and looked for the person who called me, a motocycle was pulling up fast. Naomi?! What the heck is she doing here?! Antonio said, "Who is that? Whoever that is shoot them down." The two men pulled out their guns and started shooting. I knocked over one of them and a made a run for the motocycle, Naomi quickly grabbed me and rode far from them as possible.

I said, "Thanks for saving me, one. Two, what are you doing here?" Naomi said, "I could ask you the same thing. Why did you leave? You know its dangerous being here." I said, "You know my reason." Naomi said, "Look at you, what happen?" I said, "I'll tell you later, just get us somewhere safe." Naomi said, "Alright." I needed to get to a hospital fast. I said, "Take me to the hospital." Naomi said, "What's wrong?" I said, "Just take me there, please?" Naomi said, "Okay, okay, okay." We got to a city named Caro, I never heard of the city, unless I was too young. My grandmother did say that I was 2 when I was taken here. We got to a hospital, once we was in, I ask for help. The doctors and nurses take me away into another room. They placed me on a bed and stuck a needle in my hand. It was really painful, but soon after I fell asleep.

I wake up in a bed hearing beeping sounds...again. Looking around, I saw Naomi sitting on the couch. Naomi said, "Your awake, thats good. Lets get the important stuff out of the way, first the doc said that your wounds are very bad, but your in good condition. It might take a while to heal, especially that stab wound, you loss alot of blood." I said, "I know that, anything esle?" Naomi said, "Yeah, you can't do to much of anything, so take it easy on yourself." I said, "I know, I know, I know. Uhgggg...." Naomi said, "What's wrong?" I said, "It's this stab wound, I'll be fine." Naomi said, "No! How did you get in the first place?!"

I looked at Naomi, her eyes was looking fierce and raged, I said, "Calm down...look I'll tell you if you calm down." Naomi said, "So, you'll tell me?" I said, "Yes." Naomi sat on my bed said, "Start talking." I said, "I got the stab wound from a boy who caught me in the underground passage I found." Naomi said, "What boy?" I said, "His name is Dax, but he prefers to be called Antonio." Naomi said, "What about the bruise on your chest? What about all the bruises on your body?" I said, "His men beat me up, look you shouldn't be here." Naomi said, "Too bad, I'm staying here." Surely enough I'm not geting anywhere with this, of course she beats me at everything.I said, "If your going to say here, then you'll have to do what I say. You don't do that in America." Naomi said, "Thats because America is free and we can do whatever we want. Didn't you take history class?"

I said, "Yeah...duh. That doesn't prove anything. You have to follow rules here, so you'll be going school like you do at home." Naomi looked at me and said, "Are you crazy?! Do you speak Egypt? Because I don't, its bad enough that I take Spanish one." I said, "Extend your brain, you need it." Naomi said, "I don't!!" I said, "Your going to school, yes it will be a little different here than at home, but these kids here learn more than us." Naomi said, "Thats because you and your are foreign and therefore you people will learn more because they will push children to learn more. Thats why you moved to America, only because your parents wanted you to rest that brain of yours. Hahahahahahahaha!!!"

Seriously?! I said, "No thats not what happen, I moved to America because it was getting too dangerous. Besides, what does me have to do with you and your education?" Naomi said, "Everything, because I don't want to go!" i said, "Too bad, it'll be for a couple of days. A couple of days is not going to kill you, will it?" Naomi said, "Yes, it will." I said, "It won't. Anyway, you should sleep, it's getting late." Naomi said, "I'm not tired." I said sleepily, "It's late, I'm tired." Naomi said, "Then you go to sleep, I'll keep watch." I said, "No, because you'll do sneaky stuff when I'm asleep." Naomi said, "You don't want that guy to come back, do you?" I said, "We're in the city, he can't possibly find us. Now go to sleep."

With Naomi's whining, I got masive headache. I hope it will go away in the morning.
