Work Time

Andrew POV

Since we was going to here for a while, I decided to work here while Moonya takes care of Naomi. Moonya said, "I don't think it's a good idea for you to be working here. I mean with Antonio running loose, he might do something to you." I said, "Don't worry, I'll deal with him."

Moonya said, "What if you can't? What if he takes you?" I said, "Stop worrying, I'll be fine. He's in the the desert, far from us." Moonya said, "His henchmen maybe lurking around. He might take us when your gone." I said, "Moonya, calm down, if his henchmen comes here, call me. I'm very close to the hotel anyway. If I see them, I'll call you to move somewhere else."

Moonya said, "Where would we move to?" I said, "I don't know, you can looking it up. Anyway, I have to go, don't want to be late." Moonya looks down and said, "Come back home safe." I give her a hug and leave out.

Moonya POV

With Andrew gone, I can't stop worrying. Naomi wakes up and said, "What's wrong?" I said, "Its nothing, how are you feeling?" Naomi said, "A lot better. Something's wrong with you." I said, "It's nothing, I'm fine." Naomi said, "No, you're not." I said, "Okay, I'm not fine. Andrew was here last night and now he's at work. I'm worried that Antonio and his henchmen will take him or us." Naomi, "I'm sure he will be fine, he a fast runner." I said, "How would you know?" Naomi said, "I just know."

I said, "I can't verify that. Look, don't worry about that. I have to make sure you get better. Are you hungry?" Naomi said, "A little, I just want something simple." I said, "Okay, simple like what?" Naomi said, "I don't know, just something I can eat fast." I said, "You want some French fries?" Naomi nodded her head, I said, "Okay French fries it is. I'll have to call for room service, so you are going to have to wait."

"Room service!!"

Naomi and I looked at each other, I said, "Don't say anything, I'll open the door." I leave the room and looked through the peek hole, there's two men standing there in suits, the ones that Antonio was wearing. I run back to the room, closed the door and lock it. Naomi said, "Who is it?" I said, "Its them." Naomi said, "What are we going to do?" I said, "I don't know..."

Then Naomi said, "Let's hide in the closet and wait for Andrew to come back. Why don't you call Andrew?" I said, "Andrew did tell me to call him if anything happens, but let's get in the closet. I help Naomi get out of bed and we both went into the closet. I lock the door and I dialed Andrew's number.

Andrew said, "Hello?"

I said, "Andrew, it's me."

Andrew said, "Moonya, hey, I'm okay. I made it to work."

I said, "I'm glad that you did, but now we're in trouble."

Andrew said, "What's wrong?"

I said, "Look some of Antonio's henchmen are at the hotel."

Andrew said, "I'm getting of work right now."

I said, "But your job..."

Andrew said, "Look don't worry about my job. I have to protect you two and you have to protect Naomi. I'll be there as soon as I can."

I said, "Just hurry."

We both hanged up, we heard banging on the door. They were trying to break in, Naomi said, "What now?" I said, "We sit here quietly and wait for Andrew to come back."

Since the time we called, Andrew hasn't arrived home. I'm afraid he was captured by them. I called him but he didn't pick up. The banging stop and we heard footsteps around every room. Naomi said in whisper, "Where's Andrew?" I said, "I don't know, just hope that he gets here."

Then we heard grunts, thuds and a gunshot fire. A memory that made my head spin and filled my eyes with tears. Naomi said, "Moonya, what's wrong?" I started crying hard to the point I couldn't see anything. Naomi said, "Moonya!! Moonya!!"

Naomi POV

Moonya was crying, once the grunting and fighting ceased, Andrew opened the closet. Andrew said, "Are you guys alright?" I said, "I'm fine, but Moonya's not." Andrew said, "Moonya, what's wrong?"

However, Moonya couldn't say anything or do anything. All she did was cry, maybe it had something to I with her family. Andrew said, "Moonya, calm down. I'm here! Moonya!!"

Nothing was happening, she was still crying, until the police arrived.

"Everyone stay where you are. What wrong with the girl?" One officer said.

Andrew said, "I don't know, I'm trying to snap her out."

"I need an ambulance over here. Look just step away from her, we'll handle this. In the mean time, get you other friend." Another officer said.

Andrew came to me and said, "How are you feeling?" I said, "I'm fine, I'm worried about Moonya." Andrew said, "Don't worry, Moonya will be fine."

When the ambulance arrived, they quickly put Moonya to sleep and carried her out of the room. I said, "Andrew, I want to see Moonya at the hospital." Andrew said, "I'll see what I can do." Andrew helps me up and we both head for the ambulance truck. They said that we can come with her, and we drove off to the hospital.

Moonya POV

"Moonya... Moonya..."

I opened my eyes and found myself at the hospital...again. Naomi said, "How do you feel?" I said, "Weak, and my head is hurting. I want to go back to sleep." Andrew said, "Hold on, stay up for a bit."

I said, "Andrew I'm really tired." Naomi said, "From crying yesterday, what happened?" I said, "Look, a memory came up. I don't want to talk about it. I want to go to sleep." Andrew said, "Alright, get some more rest."

I closed my eyes and went right back to sleep.
