Chapter 32

"Your sure you don't need me to stay?" Harvey asks for the second time. His back is leaning against his car and his arms are wrapped around my waist.

"Honestly Harvey, you've done so much for me today, and it's getting late. You should go home and see Lottie and Theo so they don't start to worry"

"Your right" He agrees with me.

"I always am" I shrug and he smiles at me.

"What?" I look up at him.

"Nothing" He shakes his head still smiling, "You'll let me know how everything goes with Kylie?"

"Of course" I nod, "Thank you, for today"

"Anytime" He replies walking towards the drivers side of the car and I know that he means it.

"Goodnight Harvey"

"Goodnight Hope"

He waits until I'm inside to drive away. When I get back into the courtyard Kol is standing over the body Harvey dumped on the floor because as he said 'the couch is too good for him'.

"Kylie told me what this piece of shit did to her" Kol says kicking the body on the floor.

"She did? Actually never mind of course she did she doesn't care. Careful. Don't break him"

"Don't break him? It's taking everything inside of me right now to keep myself from ripping his heart out" He mutters.

"This is cruel isn't it? I can't do this to her can I?" I second guess my only way to get her humanity back.

"Yes it's cruel, but if she really is that afraid of him then he'll trigger something inside of her and hopefully we'll get her back" He tells me honestly, "Should we do this now then?"

"Yeah I think Harvey hit him on the head or something, so we'll have to wait until he wakes up"

Kol bites into his wrist and leans down beside the body on the floor, "This will wake him up" He says as he shoves his wrist into the guys mouth.

The guy sits up choking on the blood shoved down his throat. "Where am I?" He asks standing up from the floor.

"Hell" Kol replies with sarcasm, the guy looks at Kol confused before Kol grabs the back of his shirt and shoves him towards the basement.

"Are you coming?" He stops and turns around to me. I nod in response and follow him downstairs to the basement.

I tell Kol to wait outside with the guy until I talk to Kylie.

"Look who it is" Kylie rolls her eyes as soon as she sees me.

"I came to apologise" I sigh sitting down on her bed across from her.

"Are you letting me go?" She asks, "I mean you practically kidnapped me"

"No Kylie I'm not letting you go, not yet"

"Then what are you apologising for, I don't care" She reminds me.

"I know that" I nod, "I'm apologising for what I'm about to do, because I hope that when you turn your humanity back on you'll understand why I had to do this"
