Cross my heart, Hope to die

   "Lloyd, promise me you won't run off this time," Kai laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. The boy and his crush stood in front of a carnival, the brunette holding their cotton candy.

    "Cross my heart, hope to die!" The blonde laughed, pulling his long hair up into a bun. His green eyes sparkled with amusement at spotting the giant roller coaster standing in front of them, smirking at Kai.

   "I do not like where this is going," Kai sighed as he was dragged over to the deadly looking ride. He spotted tons of people in line waiting to go on it, so they decided they would just wait to go on, instead of revealing who they are to get on faster.

   The hot head and the green machine hopped into the cart, Lloyd beaming with excitement. Lloyd had never been on a roller coaster in his youth, and this would be his first time going on. Kai, however, had been on plenty of rides like this, and even though he would seem the type to enjoy it, roller coasters were definitely not his thing.

   "This is going to be totally epic!" Lloyd squealed as the ride manager shut the bars down, securing them in the seat. Lloyd squirmed against the older male with anticipation, the ride slowly starting to life. Kai blushed at the repetitive contact Lloyd was using, moving around in his seat.

   The ride started going up the tall hill, the blonde 16 year old grinning at the adrenaline flowing through his veins, the brunette 18 year old seemingly now the green one with the vomit building up.

   "It's not too late to get off is it?" Kai swallowed back the puke, laughing. All the kid did was turn to look him straight in the eye, glare, turn back, and look excited again. The ride approached the top, Kai instinctively grabbing onto the bar, eyes wide at the large drop.

   "Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck meeee fuck me fuck me fuck m-" Kai was cut off as the cart sped down the hill at an intense speed, causing his perfectly gelled hair to be swept back in the wind. Lloyd whooped and hollered, tossing his hands into the air, the drop not phasing him at all, his bun coming undone causing his golden locks to cover Kai's eyes. The ride swerved to the side, upside down, basically in all directions, Lloyd loving it all, Kai hating it all.

   After what felt like an eternity to Kai, the boys stumbled off the ride, clutching their stomachs, both with different emotions.

    "THAT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!" Lloyd screeched, bouncing up and down.

   "Mhmm,," Kai kept his mouth shut, trying to shove the stomach acid in his throat back down to his digestive system. Lloyd, seeing the expression on Kai's face, found the perfect opportunity to make fun of him.

   "OH MY GOSH YOU HATE ROLLER COASTERS I TOTALLY WASN'T EXPECTING THAT!" The young teenager giggled, grabbing onto the older boy's shoulders. Kai, blushing extremely at the sudden contact, shrugged the small hands off of his shoulders and headed over to the snack bar.

   "I'll have a funnel cake and two slurpies," The fire ninja ordered for Lloyd and himself. The hot head picked up their food and headed to a table that the blonde had decided to sit down at. "Here's the food."

   "Thanks, Kai~" Lloyd sing-sang, grabbing his fork and shoving it into the sweet tasting, sugary sweet. "Say, where exactly are the others?" The kid questioned, his mouth full.

   "I thought they headed back to the Bounty, but who knows," Kai responded, taking a sip of his drink, the wooden bench scratching his buttocks. The cup was sticky with the liquid dripping into the cup. "I gotta go to the bathroom to wash this stuff off," The brown haired male stood abruptly and headed over to the small bathroom in the middle of the park.

   When Kai arrived back, Lloyd was nowhere to be found. He searched the roller coaster line, he searched the snack bar, he even searched under the wooden table where they had eaten the funnel cake. Kai stood up from looking under the table, scratching his head. He looked down onto the table, finding a note.

   "What is this..." Kai questioned as he picked up the paper, inspecting the words. "I've gone to the Ferris wheel, meet me there when you get back. Signed, Lloyd M. Garmadon. Of course! I didn't check the Ferris wheel!" The teenager face palmed as he saw Lloyd crossing his arms at one of the carts, waiting for Kai's arrival.

   "Finally! Where the hell were you?" Lloyd laughed as he grabbed the other boy's arm, pulling himself and his friend into the car. Once again, Kai's face turned as red as his gi back at the Bounty. Kai sat himself awkwardly across from his crush, not looking at Lloyd. Lloyd, being the observant little bitch he always is, grabbed Kai's face and forced the brunette to look at him.

   "You okay, Kai?" Lloyd asked softly, the cart slowly stopping at the top of the Ferris wheel, the view showing all of New Ninjago City. Kai, noticing the sudden change in scenery, the sun setting, them at the top of the wheel, Lloyd holding his face, slammed his lips onto Lloyd's, grabbing onto the blonde's waist. As they pulled away, Lloyd looked taken aback and awestruck, his face heating up as the Ferris wheel once again started to move.

   "Lloyd... I'm so sor-" Kai was cut off as Lloyd grabbed Kai's face and shoved his lips onto the brunette's, both men grinning into the kiss. Once again, they pulled away.

   "Don't say you're sorry, I'm sorry for not noticing how stunning you are!" Lloyd laughed, grabbing onto Kai's hand. The ride was soon coming to an end, the moon starting to rise, the lights in the city starting to turn on.

   "Lloyd Garmadon, will you be my b-boyfriend..?" Kai stuttered like an idiot, avoiding all contact.

   "Of course!" Lloyd smiled happily. "As long as you promise to never leave me.." Lloyd shifted, challengingly smugly.
