Just so you guys know, every sexuality is amazing! There is going to be a bad word, please know that all of you matter, and that I do not agree with anything bad said about the LGBTQ+ community!Lloyd
I've always hated going out in public, especially to the mall or supermarket to get essential items for human survival. The constant thought of being stalked by some crazy fan girls is kiiiinda terrifying. Kai and I are heading out to the mall to get cake for Cole, and clothes for the others. Including Jay's long list of dresses he wants to give to Nya.
This will be "fun."Kai walked in front of me, wearing a red hoodie, hood pulled over his spiky hair. I couldn't put my hood up, earrings are constant struggles, so I was wearing a beanie, some of the knitting frayed. My hands shoved in the pockets, I pushed the door back open after Kai with the side of my arm.
"Just get the cake, dresses, and fabric and let's get out of here," I whispered to Kai, cautiously looking around. From the corner of my eye, I saw him nod.
"You go left, I go right," he nudged me towards the dress store. Groaning, I stomped over to the girly store. My boyfriend always took chances to embarrass me. Well, he's not my boyfriend yet, he's actually dating Skylor. But the others call us boyfriends because of how close we are. Eh.
I sludged into the store, taking out my phone to check exactly which dresses Jay wanted to get Nya. He should've come here to get them himself. Stupid Jay.
First dress, turquoise "mermaid" dress with embroidered sparkles. Wow, Jay actually has a sense of fashion! I rolled my eyes, confused as to how to navigate through this maze of prom dresses, wedding dresses, and party dresses.
I bought all of the turquoise dresses. Fuck.
I walked back to the middle of the mall, hauling the huge bags over my shoulders. Kai was supposed to be there. Goodie, he wasn't. Meaning I had to haul the bags over to the clothes shop AND the sweets shop.
Lumbering across the mall, I saw people stop and stare. Did they know I'm the green ninja? I hoped not, and walked faster.
I stopped, exhausted and sat on a metal bench. I heard a scream, not a scream of pain, a scream of FAN GIRLS. Not at me, thankfully. But that could only mean.... Dammit, Kai.
I rushed over to the sound of the noise, abandoning the thousands of dollars of dresses on the bench, and joined into the gang of girls and boys. I gazed into the direction they were squealing at, only to see Kai starting a signature line.
Pulling off my beanie, dear god what am I doing, I walked up to Kai, yanked his arm, and whisper shouted at him.
"Jerk! I was waiting for you at the central with like, ten dresses for Nya!" I crossed my arms, tapping my foot impatiently, only to hear the kids squeak lOUDER. And then they started to chant.
"Greenflame. Greenflame! GreENFLAME!" Everyone started to scream. I turned around to look at the crowd, blushing and still crossing my arms. Uncrossing them, I pushed one of my stray hairs back to the rest.
"I should've kept my beanie on, shouldn't I have," I said. I looked over at Kai, to see the brunette thinking. That's not good. Kai should never think, his thoughts are scary.
"EVERYBODY QUIET!" He shouted. The crowd became silent at once. Not one of his speeches. Kai stepped forward, closer to the 12 or 13 year olds. "Lloyd and I are NOT dating." The crowd booed. "I am dating Skylor, my girlfriend for two years." I felt my face slowly turn into a scowl, I hated hearing him talk about her. I was jealous. I love Kai.
