Karin nodded at Orochimaru's statements. They needed to relay the Fifth's request to the Sixth. She was totally alright with his orders but the thing that irked her was bringing Suigetsu along. That waterboy is so annoying, especially when he criticizes her about her feelings towards Sasuke.

Who cares? It's still love and back off, haters.

They were jumping tree to tree getting nearer and nearer go Konoha. Karin had been to that famous village once, when she was taken refugee, to gain information about Sasuke and the Akatsuki. It was a fun experience though. When she asked for katsudon, Morino Ibiki disregarded her but the other guy got emotional about her story then blessed her with tons of katsudon. Guess what Ibiki? Karin wins!

Karin didn't know anything about a disease, but Orochimaru said they needed a mission to carry out.

Suddenly, Suigetsu spoke and broke the silence,"Guys...I need to..."

"To what?" Juugo asked kindly.

"To... defecate."

Upon hearing that, Karin had an evil glint in her eyes then turned, holding up a kunai,"Let's stick this inside your asshole to hold it!"

So Suigetsu needed to shit, well, I'll give him shit!

"Karin, just let him," Juugo defended the Hozuki,"It cannot be avoided that times like this."

Karim huffed as she sat down on a trunk to wait for Suigetsu, who was running around finding a spot, then closed her eyes then exclaimed:" Fine! Just make sure the odor doesn't reach here!"

At a distance, she heard a response," I'D GLADLY LET YOU LICK MY SHIT!"

Karin roared insults back in reply earning more insults.

Juugo sighed, this is why they needed him.

Upon arriving Konoha, they were inspected by Izumo and Kotetsu at the gate. The two guards had really serious expressions pasted on their faces as they let them surrender all their weapons. At first, the guards won't let them through but the letter that Orochimaru and Tsunade gave them, granted them instant gate pass like magic.

That's the perks of having authority?

Dunno.

She secretly has ambitions on being the on who has strict authority.

At random nights, Uzumaki Karin would often wonder if the world was different, like her being the hero, or just regret about how the Mūgen Tsukiyomi ended so quickly, without her able to enjoy it for a little longer, or worse, just live in a world of dreams, forever happy.

Think about the possibilities...Her clan all alive and well, and not the limbs, people crushed by debris, arms flailing helplessly as they tried to survive, but was still crushed by the horrible weight of this merciless, cruel universe. Karin always blamed herself for not being able to save them. As as she tried to release them, they ended up smiling and told her leave, run for her live and spend every millisecond she had left in her life with extreme care and if possible, free of regrets.

Such soothing yet grievous pieces of advices. It was supposed to be her bright solace, but it turned out to be a repetitive, haunting nightmare. How she longed for the warmth of someone's embrace, whose arms are unreachable, lost in an endless, dark abyss.

All she did so far in able to regain them was to...

When you lose a person that you consider your hope, you rarely find another one to help you up from your feet. Naruto already lost a lot, his parents, few of friends, and now, he could feel someone else slip away from his presence. If he were to count them all...The ones included would be his Father and Mother, Pervy Sage, who was his mentor, the destiny-driven bastard Neji, his first enemies who made him stronger namely Zabuza Momochi and Yuki Haku, and many others.
