The last chance: ON HOLD

When we all woke up the next morning the guys left and me Allisa and Claire went shopping again seeing as now I have to return all my new clothes and get totally different ones. 

I was starting to feel self-conscious about this bucket list. I have never been the one to really put myself out there to be noticed only in dance.  Dance class was the only place I could let everything out and feel good about myself. 

I have been I dance since I was four years old and I improve every year, well that was until this year my teacher told me he didn’t think I could improve more I put a lot of effort into dance but I also have to put a lot of effort into school my dad told me if my grades ever drop that he would pull me out of dance. This is part of the reason why I’m such a teacher’s pet though that will have to change this year. 

“Paige!” Claire and Allisa both yelled pulling me out of my thoughts.  When I looked at them I smiled and said “sorry guys I’m just thinking about my dance routine for this weekend Gary (my dance teacher) has loaded it with a lot of high skilled moves.” Allisa looked at me worriedly and asked “are you sure your okay, maybe he’s put too much pressure on you”.

  I smiled knowing she was just worried about me “I’m positive now let’s go shopping again!” I assured her.

It was true though he was putting a lot of pressure on me.  I didn’t mind though I liked pushing myself hard it makes me who I am.  Gary said something about if I wanted to be the best I had to act like the best. Sometimes Gary can get a little too cocky for his own good.

 There is a big competition coming up and he crammed my routine with a lot of skills since I am now in the 14-16 age division.  He said I needed to show the big ones how to do it.  I laughed at him when he said that. Don’t get me wrong I know I’m good people tell me all the time that I could go all the way but I just don’t let I get to my head, the way he does.
