Your POV

"I figured it out." I say nonchalantly sitting next to Remus in the library. He lifted his head and raised an eyebrow at me.
"Figured out what exactly?" He asks setting his book down. I look at the loose string on my cardigan and start playing with it avoiding Remus's eyes.
"I know what you are." I heard him let out a small noise of shock. "You always said it was a family thing but you'd come back with Bruises and cuts all over. It's also only on the full moon or the day before you're gone which made it very obvious." I rolled my eyes. Just with that fact I should've figured it out sooner.
"Alright." He says and my head snaps up.
"Alright?" He looks so sad and my heart breaks. I hate seeing him frown, I want to see the smile I had fallen in love with.
"Yeah, I guess you don't want to be with a monster like me." His eyes slightly fill with tears. "But please don't tell anyone." My mouth is opened and I'm just absolutely shocked. I get up and walk the few steps it takes to get to him and I lean down grabbing his face with my hands.
"Rem, Remus look at me." I whisper and he lifts his eyes to meet mine. I wipe away a few stray tears and sit on his lap. "You're not a monster Rem and I'd never leave you. You twat you should know that I'll be here for whatever." I kiss him lightly. "I love you no matter what."
"Why? I turn into a beast when the moon is full. How do you still love me?"
"I'll love you until the end of time but if you want an actual answer. I've known you since we met on the train our first year. I was sad because I had to leave my family and I was crying. You came in and hugged me offering me chocolate." I chuckle and the memory brings a slight smile onto his face. "That's the Remus I know." We stay quiet for a few moments just me hugging him tightly and him resting his head on my shoulder. "Can you tell me how it happened?" I ask. "If not it's fine." I throw in quickly.
"No it's fine. Uhh, my father worked in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and he had Fenrir Greyback on trial. Long story short my father said some very nasty things about werewolves and Fenrir decided to get back at him by climbing into my window in the middle of the night and biting me. I was only four at the time."
"I really don't care Remus. I love you."
"I know and I love you too."
