It was about a month after the wild hunt was taken care of. Everything was back to normal...for now. Scott, Lydia, and Stiles went to college. Malia wanted to get out of Beacon Hills as soon as possible but having no where to really go she stays and maybe in that time she might have tried to get on a civil term with Peter. Maybe. It seemed alright. Liam had let Theo join the pack(though nobody really agreed). Through that month the young Beta couldn't get the thought of Theo out of his mind. He didn't know what was wrong with him. Theo stayed close to the pack but still kept distance since he wasn't very liked. Liam tried including him in things but nobody seemed to meet eye to eye. With the tension of his pack and new feelings growing he doesn't know what to do. So he did the one thing he knew he could. He called Scott. Scott wasn't an expert in no means but he usually knew what was the right thing to do. Saying Scott was surprised when he got the call would've been an understatement.
"Okay well the best thing you can really do is wait for the Tension to die down. They're not going to trust Theo right away. It took awhile for Derek to accept help from the Argents." Scott sighed deeply. "As for you not knowing how you're feeling. I'm not the best person to talk to about that department. I was an awkward mess around Allison when I first started having feelings for her. Pretty much the same thing with Kira." Liam cursed inside his mind.
"Thanks anyway Scott." They said there goodbyes and Liam was left still unsure. Burying his head into his hands Liam started feeling overwhelmed. Maybe the first place to start with this is talk to Hayden. He still loved her. Just not in a romantic way anymore. Or maybe he should just go straight to Theo. No that'd be a bad idea. Mason maybe? Liam groaned but got up from his bed sending a quick text to Hayden saying they needed to talk and to meet him at his house. She wouldn't be there for 10 minutes and he was left to stand in the middle of his living room pacing back and forth nervously. When Hayden got there Liam smelled of anxiety and she got kind of worried. She knew what was going to happen and she didn't really mind. Just like Liam she had started feeling differently.
"Liam? Jesus are you okay?" She asked as he looked like a nervous wreck before her.
"NoI'mnotokaybutIhavetogetthisoffmychestandI'msorrybutIdontfeelthesameanymoreandIthinkImightlikeaguyandIjustdon'tknowwhattodo." Liam said all in one breath. Hayden had heard most of it but she didn't get it all from him talking so fast.
"Liam. Calm down and say that again but much slower this time." Liam sat on his sofa tears filling his eyes.
"No I'm not okay but I have to get this off my chest and I'm sorry but I don't feel the same anymore and I think I might like a guy and I just don't know what to do." Liam said again but slow enough for Hayden to understand. Hayden expected the break up but she did not expect the liking a guy part.
"Okay wow. Umm well I'll start this off by saying no hard feelings I think I've lost feelings too. I still love you but just not like that anymore. As for the guy part. Do you mind telling me who the guy is?" Liam whispered something and with Hayden's supernatural hearing she heard the name loud and clear. "Is it wrong to say I'm not shocked? I've seen the difference in you since the day we brought Theo back and at first I just thought I was crazy. Guess not." She didn't sound mad which surprised Liam since Hayden, Corey, and Mason were loud and clear with their feelings about Theo. "If he makes you happy then I'll support you with this and I'm sure Mason and Corey will too." That took a huge weight off Liam's shoulders but not all since he still hasn't told Theo.
"Well the thing is... I don't know if he makes me happy. I mean I feel like a giddy school girl around him but I haven't told him how I felt." Hayden punched Liam's arm and he yelped glaring at the girl next to him.
"What have you been waiting for!" She exclaimed pulling a Stiles throwing her hands in the air.
"Well I was dating you for one and you guys hated him." Liam looked like a kicked puppy and it kind of hurt Hayden seeing him like that.
"Well now you're free so go get your man." She said pulling Liam up by his arm and walking towards the door.
"Wait! I don't even think he's gay or bisexual Hayden." Liam tried pulling away but damn Hayden was strong.
"Oh please you guys stare at each other like you're the only other people in the room." Hayden replies rolling her eyes.
"We do?" Liam asks with hope. Hayden laughs and nods. "Now go and text me later of how it goes!" And with a final shove Liam was walking towards the place Theo was staying at. The whole way there he was practicing what to say in his head and when he thought he finally got it down he knocked on Theo's door and as soon as he saw Theo everything left his mind.
"Liam? What're you doing here?" Theo asked confused. He didn't think there was a pack meeting today or anything else important.
"I like you." Liam blurred out. Blushing a deep shade of red he put his hands over his mouth mortified at what he had just done.
"Wait what?"
"Nothing uh never mind. Sorry I gotta go." Liam started to turn around hoping to get away from this situation as quickly as possible but before he could dart off someone grabbed his wrist and pulled him back.
"Don't go. I just-just, can you repeat what you just said." Theo asked a slight sparkle in his hazel eyes.
"I uh I like you?" Liam squeaked out the second time. Theo smiled widely and before Liam could say anything else Theo smashed his lips against Liam's. After a few minutes they both pulled away gasping for air.
"I like you too." Liam grinned and hugged Theo. "So Liam do you wanna go on a date with me sometime?"
"Of course."
