Josh and Tyler have been dating for six months now. They were pretty happy together.

They have been frens since kindergarten and, honestly, a lot of their frens were just waiting for the two to finally start dating.

They still didn't go so far for them to live together; they were taking it slow.

Tyler's apartment was across the street from a store Josh worked at. Tyler would come to say 'hi' rather often during the day, but the owner of the store didn't quite like Josh making out with his boyfriend during shifts. Thus, Tyler didn't come too often.

Tyler had some financial problems, which Josh was aware of. Josh was always ready to help out, but Tyler would always firmly reject Josh's offers.

Tyler believed he can take care of himself. He didn't need Josh worrying about him. It actually made him quite angry. All his life, everybody treated him like a child. Everybody wanted to help him with everything. He. Is. Not. A. Child.

Josh didn't think Tyler was a child. Josh believed Tyler was a capable, grown man. He just wanted to help Tyler because he loves him. Because Tyler is his everything and doing something to help Tyler would mean the world.

Just knowing Tyler has no worried on his back and nothing to stress about.

Tyler was currently standing on the edge of the sidewalk, looking right, looking left, looking right, letting the red car pass by, letting he yellow car pass by, letting the silver car pass by; he finally crossed the street.

The small bell on the door of the store rang as he entered. Tyler's eyes instantly flew to look at the guy behind the counter.

"Hey, Dal"

Dallon smiled widely "Hi, Tyler, what's up?"

Tyler shrugged "I'm having a bubblegum crisis"

Dallon let out an airy laugh before reaching over to darkpink-wrapped bubblegums; he knew those were Tyler's favorite.

Tyler sighed "Just wanted to check if Josh was working today"

Dallon nodded "I dunno actually" he shrugged "I think he's having a day off"

Tyler nodded as he digged through his pockets, trying to find a dollar.

"Man, you don-"

"Shut up" Tyler snapped. He was done getting paid for.

"Okay" Dallon said ever so quietly.

Tyler finally found a one dollar bill and practically threw it at Dallon.

Dallon went to give Tyler the change, but Tyler rose his arm.

"Just give me as much as I can get for a dollar"

Dallon nodded and grabbed thirteen more packages of bubblegum. Tyler was almost addicted to those anyway.

Tyler said 'thank you' and the two said their goodbyes to each other.

Once outside, Tyler opened a package of bubblegum and shoved a pink bubblegum into his mouth. He blew a large, pink bubble; something he's become a real pro at over the last few years.

He took his phone out, dialing Josh's number. After five rings, when Tyler was ready to put the phone down, Josh answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Josh, where are you?"

"Oh, Tyler! Hi, babe. I'm, erm, I'm at my Mom's house. I would've called you, but-"
