Chapter 9: A Gentleman with a Beautiful Lady.

Amelia's POV-

Back at my home...I was trying to make a good hairstyle......when I was in high school I only knew how to make a high ponytail... I was a nerd I wasn't one of the "perfect girls" who knew everything...boys, relationships,
fun,parties and all wasn't something I was fond of. But I had to go as my boss had invited me on his own and he doesn't takes no for an answer.

The tenth time I tried again but when I couldn't​ make a good hairstyle I got irritated and gave up. I sighed sitting back on my bed when Julie came inside and said "Hey sweetie!! Why are you looking so helpless?".I just smiled at her as she took a chair and sat in front of me and continued eating the bar of chocolate she had.

"Julie...My boss has invited me to a party...Actually, his friend has thrown a party As he has closed an important business deal"...I sighed and again continued.."The problem is that I thought I have something suitable to wear but I'm not having any outfit which will be appropriate for the party".

Julie looked at me and handed me her chocolate bar. She picked her purse which was lying on the bed and said "You continue doing your work.....I'll be back" saying that she went out of the room. And again I stood up and started making hairstyles.

After half an hour Julie came back, with a Victoria's secret shopping bag in her hand...It wasn't anything shocking, her working life was very good she also asked us to stay with her, there in California but mom was attached to this city as dad's grave was here...I would have gone for shopping on my own but I didn't had my first salary yet as we got it after one month.

I looked at the bag and then at her. "Princess!!....See what I got for you!", Saying that she handed me the bag I opened it and saw a white dress..."Oh God!! This is so pretty" I told her. My eyes were holding tears now, I hugged her tightly and said "You've done a lot for me". Julie also hugged me and said "Now, don't cry... You're my sister it's my duty".

Then I turned back and held that dress over my body showing Julie how it would look on me, It was really pretty. I was looking at the dress when she said "Now go wash your face, I'll help you in getting ready".I immediately went inside the washroom and washed my face, then I came out and Julie did my makeup and when I opened my eyes to look at it, I was wondering how many talents she had...She did it really well.

After some time I was done Julie was satisfied with the makeup and dress, "Wow!..You look pretty as always....And this dress will look really good with your gold stilletoes and that golden necklace, just wear that". Saying that Julie was going out when I said "Julie ...Wait!I don't have any gold stilletoes". "You don't!?" She asked in horror with her eyes widened "No" was the only thing I said,then suddenly she cooled down and said "Oh! I'm so sorry...I forgot to give them..I bought them for you...Just wait I'll get them". She ran to her bedroom and got everything she bought for me, I wore the stilletoes and the necklace".

After 1 hour-

I stood there in front of the mirror looking at myself with satisfaction. Julie had made a nice hairstyles she made plates of small portion of my hair from the front and pinned both the small portions at the back and the rest of my hair was tied into a low ponytail, which Julie asked me to keep in front. I wore very light makeup and coming down was my elegant white dress which covered my body till my ankles and I could flaunt each and every curve of my body. Then there were my gold stilletoes they were simply...Stunning".

I was looking at myself when Julie said "At what time will he pick you up?" She was talking about Erick. I looked at the watch and saw the time oh God!! It was already 7!!. "At 7!!". I said in a hurry as I picked up the clutch and went downstairs, Showing mom how I looked, I opened the door of my apartment and hurried downstairs.
