Marcus P.O.V
I had drifted off, the Mozart and the boring nature of the hospital room lulled me into sleep. Until I heard loud, swift steps going past my door, stop, and then come back. The knob turned and opened slowly, a big pair of orange eyes peeked through the crack in the door. It was her. Her eyes quickly turned sharp, and harsh once she saw that I was alone. She didn't say a word, she walked in ,handed me 3 pages of paper, turned around and walked out. I was left there once again, mostly confused, but the look on her face told me to see what she gave me.
I flipped the first page over and saw a face that was very familiar, mine. But a name that was not, Daiki. Why is that name here? That's not my name, I thought.
As I scanned further the confusion only grew. Only four years? How can I only have been here for four years? This is all I know. How can I not have a family? Why would that be a possibility? Why would it make a difference that I cooperate? Am I just they're good little soldier boy? But...
How can I only have been here for four years? This is all I can remember.
I was starting to panic, I was trying to will myself to remember something, anything that wasn't just gray walls and a weight room. Anything that wasn't the faces I saw everyday. Something. Anything. Someone.
"Where did you get that?!"
I was faced with the furious face of Doctor McDermott, as she snapped the file out of my hands. She was breathing heavy, her face was distorted in a way that was a mixture of pure anger, but also fear, strangely. "I-I just, the girl." I stuttered.
"What, what girl?"
"She just gave it to me."
"What's her Number?"
"I don't know."

I lied.
